Roma eye Zappacosta, Darmian
By Football Italia staff

Roma are reportedly considering Atalanta's Davide Zappacosta for the summer, but the way to Torino's Matteo Darmian is blocked by Fiorentina.

The Giallorossi are being linked to the Orobici right-back as a possible replacement for Douglas Maicon and Vasilis Torosidis, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The 23-year-old is a prospect that has already been scouted by the likes of Juventus and the Giallorossi may face some competition for his signature.

Among the alternatives is Mattia Darmian, but the Torino defender is just as heavily sought after.

According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are currently in pole to sign the Italian international, with President Andrea Della Valle having fixed him as one of the primary targets for this summer’s transfer campaign.

Going into Hustini/Rakib mode:

Buffon
Licht-Rugani-Chiellini-Evra
Vidal-Marchisio-Pogba
Berardi
Dybala-Tevez

*Selling Bonucci to help fund Dybala.

**Pogba stays.
