Mhkitaryan's finishing is sub par.
It's like saying Chiellini's penalties are sub par.
It's like saying Paletta's haircut is sub par.
It's like saying Llorente's technique is sub par.
It's like saying Molinaro's crosses are sub par.
It's like saying Moratti's dental care is sub par.
...

Mhkitaryan's finishing is sub par. Will never be world class. We need to stop going for mediocrity. We need to sign superstars. We are Juventus. Our team has to be star-studded. Opponents need to look at us and think: '$#@!, there's Buffon. There's Thuram. There's Cannavaro. There's Nedved. There's Del Piero. There's Trezeguet. We cannot possibly beat these guys'.

We need the elite. The very best. People who will perform. We need the next Cristiano Ronaldo.
like who?

i like Zaza but if there is a chance to get both Jovetic and Mkhitaryan for a good price then i would do it. the two of them could start with Tevez (either in a 4-3-1-2 or in a 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 whatever, with Tevez upfront). Coman, Berardi and Morata as subs looks great too

We do, by putting 30m on the table. One good signing instead of 1.5 mediocre ones. How refreshing would that be.
we do if no-one else is interested. i think we could put in an offer up to 30M, despite all the spendings we already have predicted for the summer, and depending on the player. but if a club like City, United or PSG comes, who not only can outbid anything we offer, but also offer him better wages, then i cant see us standing a chance. there is not one player out there id want more though (excluding the obvious unreachable players ofcourse :D)

If we sell Pogba...:klin:
:turk: :D

we still couldnt do it i think (if more clubs were interested). its not about how much money you have alone, its more about how much are you willing to spend. i can see United for example going as high as 40M for him which we would never do. so we still can afford him without selling anyone, but it doesent depend all on us

You are right but I think that sides like City, United or PSG are not interested in actual scouting and buying from small sides like Hoffenheim. Since as you said, they can outspend every club they gonna buy a finished player from teams like Juventus, Dortmund, Atletico, Fiorentina. When it comes to Firmino I give us a big chance. (given we are interested and ready to spend 30m) When it comes to wages surpassing Hoffenheim will be easy and it will look as if we are actually an upgrade

i hope it will be that way :xfinger:. another thing i forgot to add is that it is also important what he wants. maybe there is a certain league or team he prefers and maybe someone is already working on his transfer. if he continues with his form from the 1st half of the season, AND impresses at the Copa America, i think he can chose wherever he wants to play (except for Real perhaps, which is ridiculously good covered at his position, dont know about Barca but they are banned anyway)... also, i heard from Nostradamus that Bayern might be after him, which would not be good for us. i say it again, i hope we get him or atleast try to get him, and there is not one player available out there that i would want here more, but honestly we have slim chances. if he plays a weak second half of the season and flops/gets benched at the Copa America, maybe some teams will lose interest and our chances increase :xfinger:
