14M for Pereyra is an OK price. not a spectacular deal like the Vidal one for example but still a good deal. and we will keep him ofcourse because he plays well this season. Asamoah is our starting LB. so why convert him into a 5th CM, limit his playing time, and drop the quality of the starting XI. Evra is a backup for Asamoah, and when he leaves in 2016 then we wll probably bring in a new LB. Romulo is a decent rotation player. he was unlucky to get injured to show that. are you gonna judge a player that played only one game? we paid 5M for the likes of Padoin and Pelus, so 6M for a player that can play CM, RWB, RB, was close to the italian WC squad, was among the leaders in assists last season, is an excellent crosser and can take set pieces... id say thats a good price for him...
Caceres whenever he plays shows that he can be relied on. last season when we lost Barzagli he entered into the starting XI and did an excellent job. he continued so at the beginning of this season in a 3 man defense, and now that he returned he does great at RB too. hes our best player on the bench now that Marchisio is a starter. you dont simply give up on players like him because he is injured often. when he is fit he makes up for it.
Barzagli should not retire. ofcourse if he feels that he cant play anymore he should do it, but not because some of us feel he might miss the next season too. i believe he will be back and reach his old form again next season. his fitness status is questionable at the moment but next season i see him returning to his usual self.
Asamoah is our starting LB. it will stay so until someone better arrives. and did you even see Evra this season? if we didnt have him e would be in big trouble since Asamoah is practically out for the majority of the season. when he retires/goes to MLS after next season then we will find a new LB (a young promising one i hope)
Vidal was the best CM in the world last season. this season he is out of form due to his long injury but he will be back. and we would be stupid IF we considered such a low offer. so unless he himself wants to go we have no reason to sell him. as for Pogba, sometimes i ask myself if people know what club they are supporting. we can refuse any offer for Pogba. the only way Pogba leaves is the same as with Vidal. if he wants to go. not Raiola, not Perez, it is only if/when Pogba decides to go that we will sell him. so stop making no sense and speaking of us as we were Tottenham or something. so we wont cash in on either of them for the sake of spending big and rebuilding the squad...

Asamoah needs to prove he can hold down the LB role. LWB and LB do differ. He is a natural midfielder and that is why we purchased him and using him in his natural position and rotating our midfielders isn't a bad option. Plus, a natural left back is better for the team.
Romulo - if anything we should try to loan him for another season but paying 6m for a player who hasn't been able to play due to injury and prove his worth doesn't sit right with me. Again though, happy for another loan next season, if he proves he can hold down a few back up roles then good for him.
Caceres - quality player, versatile and can help us change formation easily. Again, the dude is constantly injured. My stats could be wrong but 42 appearances in 3 years? You have to question his reliability.
Barzagli - turns 34 this May, has had serious injuries this season. Hope he proves me wrong but as a defender in todays world, he is going to struggle. Again, if we are to inject some younger talent, I would rather we kept Bonucci and Ogbonna, two defenders who have actually showed a lot of improvement this season than rely on a 34 year old coming off serious injuries.
Vidal - If not him it will be Pogba, and personally if selling Vidal for 40m plus at the age of 27/28 years old means we keep Pogba for another season or two, then I say go for it. We are better off maximizing the sale from Vidal before he nears 30 years of age. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep him but I just think the club wont spend big unless it sells at least one player for a substantial amount.
Again, I think you need a reality check on football today. Take your Juve hat off and realize we play in a league that has no money in comparison to England, Spain or Germany. Mid table teams in those leagues have more cash than us. We can't offer the wages or excitement in a league that other big clubs can. We sold Baggio and Zidane once...and we survived and rebuilt from those sales...why is everyone so reluctant to sell one player to fund other important signings?
