It's not sure that they would have given conte what he wanted imho . First we made a lot of money thanks to our CL run which is not guaranteed to be there with conte , also I doubt conte would have ever sacrificed vidal .
Imho , it would have been more hard to make a team for conte than for allegri .

I find it hard to believe Conte would want any of these young players we've bought recently. I still think Marotta kind of, sort of pushed him out. I get the feeling Marotta's and Conte's views on the market are nearly completely opposite. Marotta is a long-term thinker, Conte is a psychotic short-term thinker.
I don't think Marotta necessarily wants to make a team for anybody. He wants the coach to adapt reasonably to the players. I think that's the best way to build a squad that will be sustainable.
