‘Vrsaljko not for sale’

Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevali warns Juventus and Napoli that Sime Vrsaljko ‘is not for sale’.

The Croatian full-back has been linked with both clubs, and while the Neroverdi director admits they are not ruling anything out, there is no desire to sell the 23-year-old.

“Last year big clubs wanted him,” Carnevali revealed in an interview with Radio Crc.

“Milan liked him too, but he chose us because we believed in him. We’ve never had any real offer for Vrsaljko because we don’t want to sell him.

“We’ve sold [Simone] Zaza [to Juventus] and we have an obligation to look after the team. We’re careful to consider all eventualities, but at the moment we don’t want to sell him.

“Juventus? We have a great relationship with the Bianconeri, and Juventus like the player.

“It’s not important that the player’s agent visited the club, we don’t want to be at the mercy of agents, we try to do negotiations alone.

“As for Napoli, we’re not closing the door to anyone, but at the moment I have to tell Napoli and Juventus that the player is not for sale.”
They just keep Vrsaljko for us for the next season.

I don't think Marotta was lying when he said market was almost over. It was already almost over.

He wasn't counting on Vidal accepting an offer.

Vidal accepted it, informed them, they thought and decided to comply with and sell. They prefered to do this without a replacement aligned than run the risk of keeping the guy unhappy at the club, who has been showing signs of having a weak mentality off the pitch.

Wrong decision baby

Oscar: "I want to stay at Chelsea " [@J_Mercato]
Thank you Oscar.

i wonder who will be our regular obligatory "buy someone from udinese" player this summer. allan is off to africa, so he's out of question.
Africa?

Wouldnt mind a domino effect either tbh.

Gotze goes to one of the Epl whore clubs(Arsenal,Chelsea,United) and we get Ozil ,Oscar or Mata.
No dominoes, only Gotze now, focus.

Sky now saying that Juve will take some time in their search for a trequartista. The two names are Draxler and Götze. Unless Allegri wants a to change formations and then they will get Cuadrado.

This is bs
They've started taking their brand name very seriously.

mediaset:

nothing to cry about, that's a pretty strong team.
Have the media every got a next season line up correctly during the transfer window. Never gonna happen.

Damn Napoli offered 22M already for Rugani. His value quadrupled in one year. :beppe:
Even Arsenal had a 15million pound bid rejected for Rugani. Player's value has really increased .

Does anyone think Marotta made a blunder with the Zaza, that we can't offload Llorente to free some funds to push for AM? Therefore we had to take the Vidal offer to generate some funds for AM instead.
