Mind filling me up on our budget situation? Whether we can make it without selling our stars, doesnt it depend a lot on how Marotta dealing with our deadwood? There is a 206M debt still if i am correct.
We owe the debt to Exor, which owns us. Therefore it's not a huge problem and we can afford to spend this summer.

I will be most excited by the signing of some good fullbacks. It's what we've desperately needed for some time now, especially when all the big teams in Europe love attacking from the flanks now.

I tend to agree on Zaza. He will cost us 15m and I don't think he is worth it. That would be an expensive back up striker. Would rather keep Matri and go for Berardi instead because he offers the team something different.

Low cost option would be: Dybala -35m, Berardi -15m, Matri -6m?. Llorente +12m?, Loan out Coman. Net outlay is 44m. Strikers: Tevez, Morata, Dybala, Berardi, Matri

Defence: Rugani. Offer Torino Ogbonna + 12m for Darmian. Net spend 12m. Romulo back to Udinese.

Midfield: Pirlo goes. Bring in Khedira on a free. Try to do a loan on Allan with an option to buy and give them Coman on loan. Try to sell Isla for 5m and buy out the rights for Pereyra at 15m. Net spend 10m.

Bring in Neto on a free and let Sturaro go and play somewhere else.

Net spend should be around 66m.

Squad:

GK: Buffon, NETO, Rubinho
DEF: Lichsteiner, Caceres, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, RUGANI, Evra, DARMIAN, Padoin
MID: Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, ALLAN, KHEDIRA, Pereyra, Asamoah, Sturaro
FWD: Tevez, Morata, DYBALA, BERARDI, Matri

1st team (4321): Buffon, Lichsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Darmian, Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Dybala, Tevez, Morata
2nd team (4312): Neto, Caceres, Barzagli, Rugani, Evra, Allan, Khedira, Asamoah, Pereyra, Berardi, Matri

My god, the 2nd team is probably good enough to win the scudetto!

The only thing I haven't really considered is wages. Llorente and Pirlo were high earners so hopefully that at least in part makes up for the higher wages for Khedira, Darmian, and Dybala.

hmmm what?

The debt refers to players transfers, stadium, etc.. I think part of it may be owed to Exor, but not the whole of it.

And the fact we owe Exor doesn't mean we won't have to pay it. It only means interests are lighter than the market.

We don't owe anything to the stadium (it's ours) or the players (unless we have unpaid salaries). We owe to whichever company lent us money or bought our bonds, etc. Just like any company, there is no reason why Juventus shouldn't be leveraged to some degree.

Zaza has dat grinta, you can see why we are interested. He'll be a pest coming into games.

Obviously he doesn't have the skill of potential growth of a Berardi or Dybala, but I don't think we want to use him for that. €15m for his level, background and age of striker is pretty normal and reasonable, it's just a case of whether we have the money and squad space spare to do it.

I still maintain that it depends on whether anyone moves for Llorente.

Grinta is very important, but it's not enough. If you lack some technical skills, you can't be a football player. Otherwise the British would be the best players.

Maybe we'll use Zaza as part of a deal possibly Darmian.

Ogbonna and Zaza for Darmian :xfinger:
that would be about 15m for zaza + 8 for ogbonna...about 23million combined.

do it beppe. :tuttosport:

not gonna happen though, doubt zaza would move to torino. :p

i dont know how much our budget is. but what i know is that we arent selling either of our starts. we signed a 28-32M Dybala and are still looking to add a few more players. we spent almost nothing last 2 summers, our revenue is growing each year, we made a deep run in the CL, we are getting rid of some high(er) earners like Llorente, Pepe, Ogbonna etc. from all this, im guessing we can expect to spend 60M-80M this summer, without selling any major players, depending on the players we are after. now, note that i said we can, not we will for sure. so if we for example fail to sign an expensive Darmian im quite sure wed go for a cheaper option like Vrsaljko, Zappacosta or Widmer. or if we dont sign both Berardi and Zaza (do a player exchange which would make the total spending on both zero), if we sign an expensive midfielder (Witsel) or get a cheap one (Khedira, Allan) etc. so we can spend quite a lot if it is needed for some players we really want. if there is no need to spend big, we will not do it.

I have no idea why we are interested in Zaza, I am rather we keep Matri and his hot gf than buying Zaza.
i guess we want Zaza because when we sell Llorente, Morata will be our only CF. Tevez and Dybala can both play there but im guessing Allegri wants a real CF as a backup for Morata. Zaza is hardworking, runs a lot, is a good finisher in the box and i think he is the profile of player we want coming of the bench. Berardi even though is better, and i much rather would see him here than Zaza, might be one too much since we already have Tevez, Dybala and Coman. if we can get him to Udinese on loan i would do it. i would much rather get him here though, but thats not likely IMO

i suggested this a week or two ago :D. i still think thats a good deal for both sides, they will need another striker to play with Quag since Amauri is crap and probably leaving. Zaza + 5M + some other young player with a buyback would be great if possible

i would keep sturaro..
hes going nowhere

We have a running debt of stg around 50/60M with other clubs for players transfer fees. We pay in installments, like every other Italian club.
