Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta discusses whether Carlos Tevez will renew his contract - ‘the ball is in his court’.

The Argentinian striker’s current deal expires at the end of next season, and he has been repeatedly linked with a return to Boca Juniors, the club he supports.

“We’ll meet with him after the Champions League final,” Marotta told Gazzetta dello Sport when asked about Tevez.

“We want him to stay, but now the ball is in his court.”

Marotta also confirmed interest in Sami Khedira, who is believed to be close to completing a move to Turin.

“Yes, it’s an opportunity.”

Since Tevez has pretty much a free role Allegri's 4-3-1-2 is basically a christmas tree. Tevez is often just as deep or even deeper than Vidal.

Well actually I would rather just keep Sturaro over both but if I had to choose between Allan and Khedira I would pick Allan bcuz

-He's mobile and way faster than Khedira
-He's younger
-He runs more and is overall more dynamic than 6'5 injury prone Khedira...

He also is quite good on the ball as seen before

Rather sign none of them though an just keep Sturaro

If Sami comes on 4m a year do we really think he will be benched on that kind of pay?

Likewise, 40m for Dybala to not be a starter?

4-3-1-2 with the 4 CMs all playing, Morata/Dybala, Tevez/Dybala upfront. 4-3-2-1 with 3 CMs and 3 strikers upfront. we have more than enough games for all of them to play enough + injuries
