Pastore with a year left on his contract could be an excellent signing, both quality and transfer fee wise. his wages shouldnt be a problem either i guess
Pastore would be a horrible signing because he is a lazy fuck who is mostly good in counterattacks and doesnt suit juventus.

Furthermore, there will be teams offering him more wages then us, and he only cares about the money.

He simply won't get sold as he's worth much more to Chelsea than to anyone else.
Yeah i dont get where these rumors come from

Oscar, seriously guys ? Why not Hazard or Neuer while you are at it

not sure about this...

anyway, considering the options we have, if we dont get Dybala, Pastore could be the other best possible option. hes lazy, yes, but with a midfield of Marchisio-Pogba-Vidal behind, and Tevez-Morata infront, he could find himself in an ideal surrounding for his type of player. lets see, so far he wasnt even mentioned as a possible target and quite honestly, i think we wont even try to get him

still to early to talk about what type of players we want. this time last season we were talking about guys like Lulic, Immobile, Candreva, Shaqiri etc. yet we signed completely different ones. Pastore isnt the ideal signing, but in these given circumstances and at a cut price he could become a great one. he also shouldnt be our primary target, Firmino should be our top priority if possible. Dybala would be my 2nd pick. out of the other players mentioned so far, Pastore ranks very highly in terms of quality, availability and price tag/salary. i definitely wont complain if we sign him the coming summer...

Sounds realistic

Every player we signed, fits into the characteristics we want at juventus. Pastore doesnt, wich is why he rightfully isnt considered by Marotta.

But if he leaves PSG, he'll go to a team offering superior wages then we'd deem him worthy off

Juventus, Inter and Lazio are ready to swoop for Robin van Persie on a free transfer from Manchester United.

According to the Mail on Sunday newspaper, United are prepared to pay him £5m to terminate the contract early.

The 31-year-old has 14 months left on his current deal, having arrived from Arsenal in 2012, but is struggling to fit in with Louis van Gaal’s side.

If RVP is available as a free agent, then Juventus, Inter and Lazio would certainly be interested in making a move.

He had already been on the verge of joining Juve in 2012, but eventually opted to remain in the Premier League instead.

Serie A clubs have no intention of matching his current £250,000-a-week wages, so the Dutch international would need to take a large pay cut.

Aware of that situation, Manchester United are reportedly ready to hand over half a £10m loyalty bonus in order to get Van Persie off their books.
Free transfer ? Would you guys take RVP for free assuming he takes a large paycut ofcourse.I'd be pretty tempted tbh.

Agree with everything but the bolded part. I'm pretty sure we'll try to go for him. If PSG says no or they renew his contract we'll be done here but we'll at least try that's for sure.

Pastore has consistantly underachieved at PSG, and is absolutely not the type of player we want

He'd be nice for Napoli or something like that
So did Cavani. Pastore and Cavani were way overpriced and putting it into that context - yes he underachieved. IMO he didn't underachieve it's just PSG being dumb to spend huge money in every deal they make.

Pastore is the type of player we want. He's still young and talented. For the trequartista role we need someone talented with good vision, passing and speed as well as ability to beat a man or two. He's got the counterattacking ability as well as he can play possession football. He's lazy but we'll make him run more here. We're loaded with hardworking players, we need creativity, especially from AM. We wanted him last year and he's on the last year of his contract. IMO Pastore is good enough for Juve and I'd definitely go for him. He'd be a good buy for 15-20m.

If Beppe somehow pulled off both Dybala and Pastore in the summer (without selling stars) I'd give the guy 11/10 and immediately joined 'The Society' or whatever they're called in here :p

I know this might be BS (considering the source is English newspaper), but anyone interested?

RVP for me would be the perfect 3rd choice striker we could get especially if he comes on a free.If one of Tevez or Morata goes down due to an injury or something,RVP is the kind of player we could rely on.Big upgrade over Llorente/Matri.Plus i'm sure he would still be hungry to win some more titles considering he's barely won anything in his career.

If i had to choose between a 15m Zaza and a free RVP,i would obviously go for the latter.

I would say there is some substance to that report imo.Its not just some random rumor out of the blue.

I'm a fan of RvP, and I would also choose him over Zaza. It's a no brainer. But the question is, is he willing to sit on the bench?
Completely forgot Euro 2016 is coming up,so you have a point. He probably might not get as much game time as he desires but i dont know tbh.

I think RvP would be willing to play here as 3rd choice (in form RvP would be definately in starting lineup) and he could teach Morata some good things, a good role model, unlike Fernando :D

Yes, it's his last chance to win something with the Netherlands.

Getting RvP for free would be amazing, but on the other hand....

English papers claim Manchester City would hand Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri to Juventus for Paul Pogba.
The 21-year-old was picked up as a free agent when his contract with Manchester United expired and has since gone on to become one of the hottest properties in world football.
The two Manchester sides go head-to-head today in the derby and newspapers also have them duelling on the transfer market for Pogba.
The Daily Star maintain City are prepared to sell both Nasri and Dzeko to lower Pogba’s €100m (£72.4m) asking price.
The Daily Mail also suggested this weekend that Manchester United have requested a face-to-face meeting with Juve.
They would put forward a proposal worth £54m (€74.5m) plus Robin van Persie.
Juventus have repeatedly stated they have no financial need to sell Pogba and their position will be even stronger if they get past Monaco in the Champions League quarter-finals.
 This is why I don't trust English newspapers.

thats why i said if possible. still, the United rumors dont have to mean much as they might aswell be made up stories by english media. also, didnt he say few days ago that United and Liverpool dont interest him as hes happy at Hoffenheim?

Every player we signed, fits into the characteristics we want at juventus. Pastore doesnt, wich is why he rightfully isnt considered by Marotta.

yet, many here complained about all of our signings last summer.

i think we might get our primary targets done early in the summer this time so there might be no need for backup plans, thats why i said i think we wont get him. but i was contradicting myself there, we cant know for sure who our summer targets are so early (maybe Pastore would be our 1st option) so we might really go after him. and youre right, if he renews there, we pretty much wont get him

what if. My boy http://www.whoscored.com/Players/100995/ would join us, and we'd let Asamoah play in his natural position. Just fucking look at how alex sandro dominates for porto. Danilo gets all the credit, but I don't see much difference between them. Equally world class. Evra and Pirlo will get less and less minutes, so Asamoah is needed in the center of the park and there will be a hole of quality in LB.
