Tomorrow we will announce a Big signing. If we dont I will ban myself from this forum for the length you guys will decide.
Tell us what you know!

Our mercato shouldn't be over yet. We still lack AM/SS/winger that can make our attack work and get it at least a bit closer in comparison to last season's. My feeling is that the mercato is a mess right now. On paper we signed a couple of very good players and a few good ones but you can't make a team out of it. If our solution for this season is 352 with Mandzukic and Morata in attack then we're in trouble IMO.

 :howler: Messi, Ronaldo, and Ibra beg to differ.
The most idiotic statement i have heard in a long time. Individuals help build a team Marotta you *bites lip*.
The most retarded one he made in 5 years here.
That's basically saying there's a high chance he won't sign anyone, a few days after saying a great AM is coming.
I've spent the summer defending our mercato, saying let's wait until the end of mercato to see how it finishes, as Marotta keeps saying we'll bring in a versatile midfielder/AM, saying things like Cuadrado is an opportunity but not the specific type of player we are looking for, there will be more signings... The only possible way the Vidal sale makes sense is if we had an AM lined up. Vidal was our starting CAM last year. When our team was healthy, he was our CAM, Pereyra was a somewhat capable back-up, but by no means starting material.

The fact they've sold Vidal, and forced our coach into a formation change because we actually don't have a starting XI CAM anymore is almost too absurd to believe. If Beppe says there are no Juventus quality CAMs available, then don't fucking sell your starting CAM, even if he asks to leave, especially not a cut-rate price, and even more so not if that team is not willing to negotiate on Goetze, a CAM they put on the bench at the end of last season.

Beppe keeps saying money is not an issue if the players are Juventus material. What a bold-faced lie. He said earlier this window: "Isco and Oscar are both stellar players, but in the case of Juventus – unfortunately, for now – we will never be able to sign them." Clearly stating that these two players are too expensive for Juve.

And now to try to soften the blow of this fuck-up he says "individual players are not decisive." :sergio:

If he doesn't sign at least a half-decent CAM in these next few days, if this season goes south, it's 100% on him.

Top post  it sums up the entire summer from the moment the CL final whistle was blown.

We lost Vidal, but we got Dybala, Sandro, Khedira, Mandzukic, Cuadrado and Rugani. If this season goes south, its 100% on Allegri.

If this team goes south, the blame will be on young players and "the project of the future".

"We need to be patient and build the team", that's what you'll hear as an excuse.

The fact our attack will be carried by youngsters which you can't lineup in a proper way is getting me worried. Until now I assumed we're brining in a proper AM/SS/winger no matter what but Beppe's words aren't too convincing now and the time is running out. We need a champion there that will deliver week in week out because that's how you win championships.

It's gonna be on both. Beppe for not completing the team and on Allegri for not doing more with the solid team the club gave him.

none of them are quality midfielders who could make up for the loss of vidal, neither in presence, nor in contribution to defense or attack. khedira is not enough.

somebody wrote yesterday that our midfield is too thin at the moment. i couldn't agree more. compared to last year, we arguably have a better defense, both alex sandro and rugani are excellent additions. while tevez is world class and i can't think of any other player who could directly replace his workrate and goals than cavani, we have more depth in attack with dybala and mandzukic. but our midfield is meh, regardless of the injuries. we need a top form asamoah asap or we could face serious trouble even in the championship, let alone that fucking tough cl group.

We didn't lose Tevez and Pirlo also? I'm confused.

And not one of those players is a CAM for us. Seriously, how often does management of a top club force their coach into a formation change that he didn't ask for by selling his starting XI CAM, and not buying a replacement? How often does this happen.

:agree:

I have faith we'll still have a decent season, but it's incredibly frustrating to see that we're basically 1 signing away from being a fantastic team again this year, and our management basically saying that no one is available even though apparently "money is not an issue."

Hey, PI, I honestly think we're gonna sign Draxler. :D
Is he that fantastic? Another kid added to the lineup, came back recently from long term injury and if he comes he'll sit on the bench until we're halfway through the CL group stages because he'll be learning tactics or something.

I've been quiet all Summer but the pressure on Marotta is bigger with every day passing. We need a player that will jump into the staring 11 the day he comes. I can't see Morata - Mandzukic attack work and I hope we won't leave creating on Pogba's shoulders just because he asked for #10.
