There seem to be some RPG fans on this forum, who has played Suikoden? The series for me, is incredible. To my regret, I have not played the 3rd edition yet since it was never released in Europe, but ive played 1+2 and finished 4 (without 108 stars yet)

Who else has played them?

Dragon Quater was shitty. That 100% bar really ruined the game- espacially as there is no explanation that if you reach 100%, its over.

It depends what more you want- Suikoden is less linear then BOF, has better storylines, and the music is great. I think its overall better.

BOF III though, was a really good game.

Well, 1 nowdays is a bit outdated- you would only really enjoy it if you are mad into the series (like me)

If you can look past the anime cartoony style graphics, then go for 2. The music is great, its long, it has an epic storyline and its really addictive, though you have got to like RPGs for that. It was made in 1999, but if you dont have a problem with that then go for it.

    I havent played 3.

4 is good overall, but Im more a fan of the old school graphics of 1 and 2. Four was not bad and certainly had its moments, but it lacks the epic feeling the previous games give. If you like the others, its still worth a buy though.

Like I said, just look past the old school graphics. The game is really one of the best and the story draws you in.

Feel free to PM if you want to get any help or share anything about the game :)
