Hi! I have just registered & i am unable to post on the forum. I receive a msg noting im unable to access the thread due to priviliges or the mod has suspended my account. I havent even posted yet so i couldnt have my account suspended?

What thread did you try to post in? The Commentary thread is only for certain members.

I remember saying something to Mikhail a while ago about some sort of probation thing for new members to stop the spammers, he talked about changing the default user group or something.

Is that simple to do? If it's not fuck it.

yes we discussed some sort of pre-moderation posting system where new posters were subject to a form of quality control,then we realised guys like yourself would not have gotten past 5 posts before we hit the destroy button and decided against it
