Just watched the movie "Suburra", directed by Stefano Sollima, based on the book by Giancarlo de Cataldo.
While I enjoyed the movie, I'm pretty disappointed that they eventually completely diverted the story of the book. This is interesting, since De Cataldo in the meantime has written a follow up with characters re-appearing from Suburra, that have been killed off in the movie.
Since Netflix not only has produced this movie, but is also producing a complete series, which will premier some time in 2017, I wonder if it will have anything to do with the movie at all or if they will start over completely again.
Has anybody read the book and/or seen the movie?
