Suarez could not, in my opinion, function well in the 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1 system I expect Juve to play next season, while Dzeko could.

That doesn't necessarily mean I think Dzeko is the better player, though.

After watching him play in the WC, i've come to the conclusion that Suarez is in fact a very good player. I like him.

The guy is a complete ST,who is good finisher,skillful,fast,intelligent and a true leader of a team who can lead the team indivisually even if the rest are crap.

Dzeko is also a finisher but he is not skillful as Luis and his speed is no where near Luis + what Dzeko is specialist in is his skill in air but actually our new Wingers (Martinez&Pepe) are type of wingers who cut inside and assist or shoot more than playing wide n delivering the ball inside the box.

Luis also is a versatile FW who can play as ST,SS and even in the wing in the 4-3-3 formation.

The most important thing is the price,Luis Suarez will cost us much lesser than Edin as the bosnian will not cost us less than 30 million but Suarez can be bought by not more than 20 million or 22 at max.

Thank you for saving me the effort to post all these from my mobile. I agree that Suarez is the most complete player and i also believe that he will have a better carrier.
But as long as we have Amauri, him and Aguero are out of question. So a prolific finisher seems to be the wisest choice atm...

The most overrated players on the planet come from countries like England (best hype machine hands down) and Italy (arrogance), with great influence and expectations and yet no real value as this mundial has apparently proven. Not from poor countries who have overperformed.
As far as strikers and goals as statistics are concerned though, i see your point and agree with it. But Suarez has proven his worthy against classy competition.

im sorry but I don't trust strikers in the Dutch League anymore, I've heard it over and over again.

Alves - scores loads, goes to middlesbrough turns out to be garbage
Huntlear - scoring loads , then turning out to be average at most
Saurez - scoring loads...

in fact the last striker to come out of the dutch league and succeed was van nistlerooy and that was ages ago.
