A passionate following urged Juventus on in their second training session at Beijing’s Olympic Park Stadium.
Around 500 local fans, sporting banners and decked out in the trademark black and white stripes, displayed their affection for Antonio Conte’s men throughout the afternoon workout.
A host of chants were belted out with gusto, ranging from ‘Siamo noi, siamo noi...’ to individual player tributes, with the Bianconeri responding in kind by frequently acknowledging the incredible support on show.
This morning’s light fitness work served as a mere appetiser for an intense afternoon session - again predominantly focused on the players’ condition. A game of handball got proceedings underway, followed by a brief eleven-a-side practice match contested on a reduced pitch, before the squad was put through a series of jogs and sprints over varying distances.
While the outfield contingent put in the hard yards, Claudio Filippi ensured the goalkeepers were kept just as busy, sharpening their reflexes with a wide selection of drills.
After leaving the field to another strong ovation, Juventus rewarded their unwavering support by signing autographs and posing for photos before returning to the team hotel.
The Bianconeri will be back at the Olympic Park Stadium tomorrow for a 10.30am workout.
