And at the same time they continue to invest millions in a shitty movies - red notice, the adam project, 6 underground, it's like those cheap action movies from the 80s and 90s but with a much bigger budget

The allure of streaming services were that there were a handful and it had most of the content you needed. Now there are hundreds and each one has some good shows/movies and the rest is mostly garbage. They are basically cable tv channels now.

Its a fragile business, if youre subscribing to a platform for half a year, chances are youve mostly seen the stuff that interests you and would be better off switching, but many of the account holders dont because they're too lazy. So as soon as you make dumb moves like Netflix did with Russia or now threatening to cut down on account sharing, you give extra incentive for the lazy to finally do it

The problem is, netflix shows are all the same and they're shit. Agenda disguised as entertainment aside from old stuff that everybody finished watching already.

I do wonder what percentage of those leaving are as a result of the "woke" pushback, if there really is any at all. I see it a lot online, but of course that is not always representative of the general population.

With dumb moves like with Russia I meant their initial soft stance on Russia, for a good moment they hesitated and were willing to agree to Russian demands of hosting their propaganda channels.

Myself and a few from my circle quit Netflix at that point and when they backtracked (probably because they realized that the gains from Russian market dont outweigh the backlash from row, obv theyre not interested in whats right or wrong) I didnt really want to switch back anymore.

All Warner Bros productions, all Discovery productions, all HBO productions in ONE streamingservice.

All time classics like Harry Potter from Warner Bros. The most leading documentaries and the largest selection of documentaries. And HBO with Chernobyl, Game of Thrones, The Wire and Sopranos, series considered as part of the best of all-time. For only 5 euro's per month!
