this is precisely it though, nzonzi is a good player but not a world class player that we crave to take us to that level of the true european elites that agnelli and co keep boasting about. I'm fine with nzonzi as a rotational player but not as a regular starter with a view to conquer europe, WE HAVE TO BUY AND THINK BIGGER! and there is absolutely no excuse that we cannot afford at least 2 big name signings this summer. paying 30 odd mill on nzonzi is an absolute joke especially as we'll get 2 maybe 3 years out of him. Pay the friggin money for fabinho and add to it. we will never win the CL otherwise
We are already at that level. Otherwise we wouldn't have reached 2 CL finals in 3 years while winning 6 scudetti.

Our biggest mistake weren't our transfers. But our sales.

Pogba left because we couldn't match their wage offer. Vidal left because he thought he has better chance winning CL with Bayern. We are not there yet.
Vidal was wrong. And it's too bad cause we badly miss him. It's sad we didn't replace him properly, or more sad that we sold him for peanuts.

I don't regret us selling Pogba, though. The guy is an idiot. It was a perfect chance for us to milk them. Also, we're much better than United, it's not like he went to a stronger club.

We're not really though are we. You can sugar coat it all you want. Look at Atletico reaching 2 finals. That's our level right there at the moment along side them. We're not on the level of Bayern, Barca nor Madrid yet. You don't see Madrid getting linked to shite like N'Zonzi.

We need to set the bar high and remain at that level to compete. Otherwise we'll keep flopping.

Spending has nothing to do with success. Look at City and their fees. PSG is also a good example.

Real is kinda different as they spend 80-100mln on single player for years now. Not only Ronaldo but they bought Bale and James for insane amounts. This summer they spent over 40mln on a 16yo kid form Brazil. They can toy with money. We can't do that.

You think we're on an Atletico level? I wouldn't be that harsh cause we're stomping Serie A and we actually humiliated Barca.

Im sorry to say we are not at that level, we may be at the level of atletico madrid but certainly not real madrid or even barcelona and as long as we keep selling assets to buy players as our transfer strategy we will never at least in the long run be a true european elite.

Atletico madrid would be stomping on la liga if barcelona and madrid weren't there, just as we would be 3rd each season if madrid and barca were in Serie A

Like Capello said: you win title by winning against lesser teams. And quite frankly, we did manage to win against Barca while they couldn't score for 180 minutes. Of course I wouldn't write us off in La Liga. That's a place where I think we'd concede 15 goals for the whole season.

Man, we won Serie A six times. Count... 6. We won Coppa like 3 times. We reached 2 finals in 3 years. That's not Atletico Madrid level.

Maybe what would have turned my head would be if we'd actually beaten Madrid in the final. But that game just showed how behind we are. And the worst of it all was that Madrid wasn't even that good on the night as the 1-4 score line suggested.
Yes we've progressed immensely these last few season, and couldn't have asked for more. But to say we're on that level?? Nah, not quite yet for me.

That match had nothing to do with Real being super strong. It had everything to do with us being totally invisible and real shit in the second half. But that's not we usually play. That wasn't Juve. That was just shit. Sadly.

It's excuses. I hate hearing all this "that wasn't Juve" from ourselves and players. It's bullshit. Well when will we see the real Juve then in a final? Every time we get done it's excuse after excuse. When the simple fact is we're not as good as them in a one off game when it counts.

You think it was the same thing you saw in first and in the second half?

It's not an excuse. I've been watching Juve for over 15 years. That's not hailing myself either. But I don't think I ever witnessed a worst second half.

Chalk me down as the only one who would be quite content if we sign N'Zonzi, I would actually like a player who can hold down a midfield on his own and free up his teammates just to attack.

Only downside for me is price, we should negotiate it the fuck down. But dont be suprised if this guy goes to another top club and dominates for them, he really has improved alot as a DM, focus on his actual performances instead of the "optics" of not being big enough name. We should make big impactful profile moves in other positions, not the DM one.

This clip says Allegri wants him over others?

Count me in. Rather him than Tolisso, since we cant get Fabinho it seems
