he's a dictator ye...
he kicked ronaldo out with no reason, he couls have kicked many others (cassano, diarra, etc..)
he's benching robinho with no reason (u can't argue - the boy has talent)
and madrid is playing defensive.
when i watched juve winning 2 scudettos i was happy becuz we won but those hardly 1-0'z were boring games.
i prefer to lose sometimes and play a beautifull football.
kinda of like werder bremen.
they play the best football in germany but sometimes lose..

He can only field 11 players you know.

I think 1-0 is a great result. But I want the players to be happy with their coach. That wasn't the case as many declared after he had left.

The problem with Real Madrid right now is not Capello. Capello is a good coach and has the ability to turn Real into a solid team. He does not keep many players happy, but this is not an uncommon problem on teams with a lot of superstars.

Real Madrid has grown accustomed to playing selfish football over the past couple years. Their defending is horrifying and their attacking play is spastic. There are many individual players on the squad and many of these players needed a wake up call or a ticket elsewhere. Capello is doing just that.

Capello is good from the tactical side and will build a team that reflects his persona very soon. Turning around a team as big and with as many problems as Real Madrid have, is not a quick task. Currently they are only 5 points out of first place in the league and are playing good offensive football in the CL. However, their defending has not improved and only will over time. Cannavaro is not as amazing on Real because he does not have defenders with a good defensive mindset along side of him.

Roberto Carlos bolts downfield every chance he gets and the other two rotating defenders are even worse. A lack of discipline is a serious problem with defenders, and Real have a monstrous lack of it. It is not an easy problem to solve quickly. I think Real have made some good moves with players so far and I am sure they will continue to do so.

Capello will improve their situation, I just don't think that management will give him the time he needs to construct the team in his style. It is a style which quite frankly doesn't fit the mold of Spanish Football. Perhaps Capello should have stayed in Italy.

TBH, Yeah, I couldn't support this player, and everyone on this forum knew this.... Most of them thought because of Del Piero which is not the only reason.

The funny thing is that some Zlatanists around here were even comparing him to Del Piero and putting him ahead.

Sometimes, I tried or OBLIGED myself to cheer for him, because he wore a jersey which is an expensive and lovely one to me....but couldn't really cheer for him for more than couple of matches. felt sick.

C. Ronaldo does indeed belong to that group, he's one of the most selfish players I've saw in Football since I started playing the game and watching. Even ferguson once after their game against Arsenal, criticized C. Ronaldo for doing useless stuff when there's no need for them, in which he meant (tricks n pony show).

Rab, I have to confess, sometimes we have different viewpoints regarding politics, even though when it comes to football, its tactics and the players whom we do appreciate, I think that the gap between me and you vanishes a lot.

Regarding, your opinion about Del Piero and Zlatan, I think that the previous paragraph says it all. :tup:

you are right though gerreard is a sublime player but i cant see it happening, benitez may force him out though by continually playing him on the right of midfield as he is best as a box-to-box player. with mascherano and alonso though benitez seems to favour moving stevi g out wide

It's normal that people may not share the same ideas/points on some-topics, and may share it on something else. It's good we share that on Football:cool:.

lol. I've been busy and I dunno, I guess the forumz just doesn't appeal to me anymore. Plus I don't get to watch Serie B matches.
