We wont offer any more than 15mil+players, because we are still on the look for a finisher, which is our priority.
We made a really good offer there. Matri was in the region of 23mil, when he was still unproven, not the first scorer of the actual serie A champions!
And although for us may not be as usefull, because we have many and very good SS choices, like Vucinic, Quaq and Giovinco and we only need a target man, a place that Matri cant deliver, due to his techical characteristics.
But to replace Jovetic, he would be a perfect match, esp in a team like Fiorentina, who has no competitions and lower quality overall.
Matri would easily become their star.
The extra hefty 13 and the extra hand in the midfield, should not only sweteen the deal, it is more of an overpaying.
They did not excepted? Their loss...
We wont be their fools forever, they made a fortune from us, far too many times, thats enough!

Lets focus now on the finisher we need the most!

Since you're good boys, I will tell you what's happening.

PSG is happening, that's what. Milan is happening too. Prade is waiting for Milan. Even though it's sure that Milan won't splash 30m euro either, Fiorentina expect a bidding war between us and Berlusconi's team. They know that this is a bad moment to sell Jo-Jo and they are waiting. They allowed us to talk to Jovetic and Stevan accepted our offer (the only offer he got this summer), but they don't plan to sell him so early, before they see what plans Milan has with the money they already got and will get with the new sales. Unless we make a 25m eur offer right now, we won't stand a chance for Jo-Jo until late August. In late August Fiorentina will consider cash+players offers. That is, if other teams don't make better offers by then.

Considering that Man City have decided on their starters being Aguero and Balotelli,
the whole Europe is expecting for them for their next move, Tevez, Dzeko and Adebayor will not accept the sub role, esp not the latest two, so at least one of them will go, two if they get RVP.
This will commense a chain reaction of big forwards transfers and large investments around Europe, with us, Milan and PSG having a say...

So we can expect to be kept on edge for some time yet then? Well fuck my ozone!

dont see them accepting player + cash offer now, unless it is an inflated one,In the excess of 20m + Quags/Matri + any other scrubs.

They'd accept a cash+player(s) offer now only if it's an inflated offer as you say, or if the players in question are sellable assets. Matri and Pazienza won't bring them a lot of money next summer and after that. Fiorentina obviously don't care about success now. It's about finances. If we offer them, say, Giovinco+13m, I bet they'll accept it.

Honestly, I think offering cash plus Giovinco is the best deal for everyone involved. The only thing I'd have against the deal is it would be ethically wrong given that we got Gio back after promising him that he won't be used as a makeweight in any deals.

Fiorentina director Prade on Jovetic:"There's a gentleman’s agreement that if a €30m cash only offer is made we must sit down & discuss it"

Agreed once again.

Even if its an unethical thing to do..Gio will reject Viola in a jiffy..Its clear that he wants to prove himself at a big club ,dont think he's prepared to fight a relegation battle once again.

I wouldn't offer Giovinco for Jovetic. Sure, Jovetic may be the better player but I am not sure he is that much better. Jovetic is class but I am not sure its worth going to the trouble to exchange Giovinco for him. Rather get a proper center forward instead.

We should just offer 23 Million + one or two fringe players to bridge the gap. Marotta needs to stop playing scrooge and get with the times, especially when it comes to the vital/most significant and important signing of the Mercato, arguably of his whole reign/tenure here.

If we lose out on JoJo to Milan, one of the PL fuckers, or PSG, I'm going to be fucking pissed :andy2: :( :ferocious

I think that 22/25M is the further Marotta will go in this or any other deal. It's probably the most Juventus can offer for a player too. And paying more than 20M is already stretching it at straws for an italian club at this point, to be honest.

my fear is if he's thinking about a 10/15M + players OR a 20/22M straight cash, which I think it's the case. That won't get him Jovetic. I guess 20/22M + players would, though.

Surely there wouldn't be any teams from other leagues in for him? Doesn't seem likely. The only teams maybe I could see are L'pool and Man Utd but it seems more likely that he will stay in Italy.

if we delay it until August ,you could be sure as hell one of these plastic clubs snap him up (Chelsea ,PSG etc)..even if they dont really need him :sergio: (thats the sad part)

If Jojo is convinced he will succeed with us there is no rush. Milan might make a great offer for him, but that will make them lose a lot of other deals. Besides they know full well that after receiving 60m everybody will try to milk them. And they need a lot of players and debt covered...
