Isla played a lot of the games in last season as CM, and for RWB we also have Lichtsteiner, Pepe and Caceres. We will also have Pogba, Bouy and Gabriel and they will hopefuly get some playing time.

The UK sports coulmns have speculated that both Arsenal and Chelsea are both very keen on this player. A figure of £20m was mentioned as to the price needed to prise him away from Florence. I suspect that it would probably take as much as €30m equivalent to £25.5m at todays exchange rate.

I should imagine that Agnelli, Patrici, Marotta and not least Conte are anxious to wrap up this Summer transfer window asap to concentrate on getting them training together prior to pre season friendly matches. The last thing we want is this striker thing dragging on.

20 Million won't get us JoJo. 23-25 Million might close the deal. 20-22 Million + Quag + Pazienza will most definitely see this deal going thru. I know some might see this as overpaying, but it's well worth it. We are getting rid of one player who we don't need at all, and another who has been used sporadically and is unlikely to get any better, given his age and injury layoff.

We paid 18 Million for Matri FFS. JoJo is much better, and much younger, so go figure.

It's safe to assume that if Chelsea really wanted him, and he was keen on moving to England, this would be a done deal by now. Teams in England have no problem paying 30 Million Euros for a young wizard, and potentially world class player with many years left in top flight football.
