That's my view.

If we sell to PSG, Verratti is a must. Usually when you sell its at a premium so the players we receive should not be at a premium.

Verratti (35 million), Cavani (35 million) = 70 million EURO
He's worth 120 million IMO so I'd want another 50 million EURO.
It's a steep ask, but if a bidding war ensures (and I'd fully encourage disclosing all bids if one ensures), we should be able to obtain a massive overpayment. We should also include Rabiot just for lulz.

You then use part of the the remaining 50 to buy Christian Eriksen, and remainder to pay the increase in wages. You could also add a fullback as well if one is obtainable.

-----Cavani---Tevez--------
-----------Eriksen----------
Vidal-----Verratti----Marchisio

Depending on the team who we sell to I'd ask for a similar package, but I do believe PSG will pay the most given his French heritage, and they have the most attractive assets that they'd give up. I mean who would we get from City that they would "sell". Same with RM.
Dont know about Eriksen, but a deal involving Cavani+Verrati plus whatever else we can steal would be a big fapping!!.

Just a season or 2 ago we dreamed of Cavani. Having that monster worload here would be epic. he just needs a team like Juve to return to his old destructive self. He would fill our goal needs and with tevez at his side... oh my.... those 2 would be an explosive couple.

Verrati would be the perfect replacement for Pirlo and maybe even better because unlike Pirlo, this guy is a workhorse and can dribble.

Tevez,Cavani,Verrati,Chesio,Vidal... dat workload.

Also for Verratti/Pirlo:

From whoscored...
Pirlo:
Weakness: Tackling

Verratti:
Strengths:
Blocking the Ball

Style - Likes to tackle.

IMO Verratti is more like a hybrid of Pirlo and Nigel Dejong but...

Removing:
  • Tackling Violence (he still fouls lot, just not violently)
  • FK Ability, Distance Shooting Ability

Modifying:
  • long passing ability (It's still good, just not Pirlo)

Improving:
  • Dribbling Ability

When you play with Pirlo you need to often forgo an attacking midfielder/ trequartista because Pirlo is defensively deficient. Verratti is an asset defensively. As a result Verratti can also play in a two man midfield. Obviously when Pirlo is on his game, you're more than ok with accepting his defensive deficiency. He's a legend. Verratti does allow for more versatility than a Pirlo though.

EDIT: (I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE OBVIOUS)
Adding
  • Giovinco's height
  • The face of a Lesbian

Only Rakib post like this. Is that you?.

And yes, verrati is very foul prone, and maybe a little hot headed. Thats his flaws but no biggie.
His talent overweights this, and he still has a lot of experience to gain.
