It's kinda funny, who would you have preferred to get instead?

When i think about it, for under 25 million euro, most if not all the alternatives blow compared to Jovetic. Sanchez? Garbage. Torres? Done. Ilicic could be decent I guess, or get lucky and try to poach Ljajic next year for free. None of them are as good as Jovetic though.
We already got someone much better than Jovetic. There's no point getting another forward when we need a LWB much more.

Tevez is good for a year, maybe two if he doesn't go crazy. After that is again going to scrapping the bottom of the barrel for deals hoping to find a gem. Besides, only one talented player for 3 competitions is not ideal, who else is going to create if Tevez is tired or has an off day? Giovinco? Lol.

He would have been a nice signing, but we technically didn't need him since Tevez arrived. Our four main strikers should be Tevez, Llorente, Vucinic and one of Matri/Quag, with the other being sold and Giovinco in the reserves :D

Tevez is very good for at least another 3 years. One 1 talented player? Mirko and if we sign Diamanti would be more than enough backup for Tevez. Besides, we don't have €30M to waste.

We didn't NEED him, true, but we only have one consistently skilled player in our forward line. I don't see how we are short on the left side, with Asamoah and Peluso we are good.

Mirko? Yeah, when he feels like it, which it isn't too often. Tevez is a great player but you just never know what you get, he might end up hating Turin and want to pack his bags for Boca. And come on, Diamanti? Your hate is irrational my man.

True on the 30 million though, if we hadn't wasted money on people like Padoin and some youngsters who 95% of them will never make it to the team, we might have had the cash.

I mean, we were boasting about trying to get Higuain or Jovetic, we must have had at least 20 million reserved for this move, sell Giac and boom, you get the 30 millions.

Can totally see the jew in him. He went through almost the same bullshit that Nic is going through but instead of helping a brother out, he's busting the dude's balls for no reason. :sergio:

I love Nico as much as the next member, but you gotta expect to have your chops busted when you put yourself out on a limb as much as he does.

That's true and everyone loves to rib him about his transfer gossip and his friendship with that dolt known as Curva, but Badass doesn't shut up about it and constantly makes jabs at him long after the joke is over. It's typical of him.

Nick does well in producing transfer info whether you all choose to shove all your eggs in one basket and believe its a done deal is up to you. He can only do so much cos things can change so quickly these days as we all know.

I know, as I said I'm a fan of his, but the ''welcome to Juventus'' kind of posts are pretty funny.

I think deep down I'll never forgive him for the Aguero saga, possibly because I still get stick for it to this day from my mates after saying a 'reliable source' told me we'd sign him.

We'll you're just to blame for getting a little naive and carried away. Maybe you thought more with your heart rather than your head. ;)

Can't argue with that :agree: Now I'm a little older and much more .

As a follower of Beppism, I have learned to think more rationally when it comes to our transfer dealings.
