Who says those are the limits to the budget? And just cuz we have that money means that we're obligated to sign him for them even though he's not worth it?

Anyway, I'd go for Tevez who's better and has a lower price tag. I'd also look to sign Villa who Barca are trying to get rid of, he'd give us 2 good season and the rest would be a bonus.

Tevez won't come for 5m wages. Try again.

Why should you go inb4 upset team balance when that is exactly what it's going to do, unless we're ready to offer the equivalent wages to all our star players.

You think it's possible to sign Tevez AND Villa in this mercato... after signing Llorente? LOL. I don't think either of those is realistic for us.

Seriously, stop dreaming. WTF. You're up for a huge disappointment if that looks anything close to realistic for you.

We can chase AND bid when it comes to Jovetic, Muriel and such, but not Tevez, Higuain, Suarez and Villa.

Lower transfer fee.

inb4 upset team balance.

Llorente was bench player and gets 4.5 so if that doesn't upset team balance Tevez won't. Plus Tevez is much bigger name too.

I think he meant as another option, not both.

Do you know what "for argument's sake" means?

And just cuz we have that money means that we're obligated to sign him for them even though he's not worth it?
Of course not.

But there comes a point where you have to accept the transfer market is what it is and make the best of it.

That's not to say you spend money you don't have or agree to any stupid valuations.

I certainly wouldn't be paying 30m for Jovetic.

Anyway, I'd go for Tevez who's better and has a lower price tag. I'd also look to sign Villa who Barca are trying to get rid of, he'd give us 2 good season and the rest would be a bonus.
Fair enough.

Clearly there are major questions around those two, as there are with Jovetic.

You are quite happy to go for players who are short-term options and without any potential for development?

Depending on the fees and wages, I'd probably just take Tevez ahead of Jovetic.

Don't think I'd have any interest in Villa unless he was very cheap - wages as well as transfer fee.

You have serious reading problems, go back and read what I wrote then read what you wrote.

We signed Llorente within the wage budget we have, which means that every other stay player can expect, in due time, to reach those figures. Hence why it's not disturbing the balance, as the possibility of them reaching 4.5 was always realistic, even prior to Llorente's signing.

If we sign Tevez on 5.5 or 6, then that is suddenly our maximum wage budget, you see how the two examples are anything but parallel. Jesus christ, I thought English was supposed to be your first language.
