Yeah, he's one of the few players in the world that it would fit natural with.
Indeed. He plays for a team and eventhough Higuain might be a 'bigger' name, Jovetic fits it much more.

Oh man... I so wish we sign him. What sex would that be...

But I still think if we sign him we won't move for Higuain. We'll settle with Jovetic, Llorente and Mirko.

Vucinic - Jovetic would be deadly though, best strike force since 2008 when DP and Trezeguet started regressing more.
We dont know that before we've seen them play i think. I'd rather see a Jovetic - Llorente/Higuain partnership. A true striker and a true 10, which would fit in well with the 3-5-2 i hope.

Jovetic linking up with the midfield, doing sexy 1-2's with Marchisio, playing through balls for Llorente, having lots of space because Llorente will draw defenders to him or vice versa. I can see it happening, i hope Jovetic will be signed so much!

AND i hope he will grow back his 'fro!

30m, #10 for a guy who never scored more than 15 goals. What the hell is going on right now? The guy is so overrated and he never even impressed me that much when playin(besides the game against apool a few years back). Has he ever even played a really good game against us?

I'll honestly be pissed off if we finally spend the 30m on a guy who has never even been close to being the most outstandig offensive player in Serie A or had had a season better than Quag, Matri, Giovimco or Vucinic. If we took all of those players and ranked their best seasons to date, Jovetic would have the worst out of all of them.

Agreed and I think deep down Jovetic has always been the true target.

I expect Llorente to explode here and having him and Higuain would be a waste.

He's a SS, he's not a pure striker. You don't expect him to score 25 goals per season, but create and connect the midfield and forward and he's great at that. If he played a good game against us then it means he's a good player? :lol2: Well, Amauri had a beast game against us.

As for the second part of your post, it's laughable.

And it's not going to be 30mln euros.

Quag + 20 mil € would be too expensive. I can almost guarantee that if that happens Quag will score more than Jovetic. Jovetic is a big game player and does other things so he is better, but we'd look like absolute fools in that deal.

Del Piero scored more than 16 goals just in 2 out of 19 seasons (including Serie B) he played with us. And he is the best player Juventus ever had/will have.

We are talking about a talented man here. If you want a goal scorer go for Gomez (or Higuain).

I'm amazed people don't want him here. Without the injuries, he's got all want an SS needs.
Reminds me a little bit of Del Piero when he's injured. Far from as good, but the way he picks up the ball and with a few touches sets up the entire attack reminds me of our old architect.

Yeah, for 30m and the hype surrounding him I kinda expect him to score 20 goals or more, especially since that what we need from our new forward. These days SS do score over 20 goals. Suarez, Ibra, Rooney, Del Piero and many others usually score over 20 goals. They are a double threat.

Also you say he creates yet he has 5 assists this season and 3 last season. Which leads to the question, what the hell is he good at?

When people say a player is good and I don't agree, I usually go check their stats to see if I'm just misinformed and that he's actually really good and consistent. Jovetic numbers and production didn't prove that at all.

And whether you like it or not, our other strikers have had better seasons than Jovetic to date. You can see that as you want but at the end of the day the man has not exactly dominated the league like many people here want to believe. Therefore, he's not worth the 30m or us giving up on what this team really needs which is a natural born finisher like Higauin who can score the easy goals.

You can't compare Serie A goals with all competitions. Del Piero scored more than 20 goals in plenty of seasons. Please stop with the deception.
What does this even mean?

You need to watch players to judge them. Don't go all transfermarkt on us like RUS. Watch some football you potato.

All of those you mentioned are shaped WC players who cost God knows how much. Suarez would cost at least 40-50mln while his wages would be twice as much. Rooney is not really a SS like others.

It's why you're wrong. You probably watched him only against us.

Stats don't mean anything, they just hide too much. This season Giovinco had very good stats, yet he was shit.
