I still haven't heard of any other club besides us making a serious bid for him. I believe we'll try to sign him after selling Isla (and maybe Matri or Quag) it's clear he wants to come here and we are very interested in signing him, but there's still a little bit of time for us to work on things.

So my guess is that once we sign Ogbonna, the focus will be on selling deadwood and then making a cash + Marrone bid to them. Makes the most sense for both parties.

The ultimate deal would be to include Quagliarella or Matri in the deal, would be hard thought. Im happy with the current attack, but to get Jovetic and Tevez this summer would be epic :tuttosport:

3-4-1-2

Buffon
Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini
Licht-Vidal-Marchisio-Asamoah
Jovetic
Tevez-Llorente

OR

4-2-3-1
Buffon
Licht-Barzagli-Bonucci/Chiellini-Chiellini/LB
Vidal-Marchisio
RW(Gio or whoever)-Tevez-Jovetic
Llorente

Or we might just not play with a targetman altogether and start with Jovetic and Tevez upfront with the same 3-5-2 formation with Pirlo in the lineup ofcourse.

Pre-Season will give us more clues i think.
None of that will happen. No Pirlo, 4 man midfield infront of back 3? And the 4-2-3-1 with Chiellini as LB and Jovetic on a wing won't happen too.

Fiorentina on Gomez and Jovetic
By Football Italia staff

Fiorentina general manager Sandro Mencucci confirms interest in Mario Gomez and that Juventus are still tracking Stevan Jovetic.

“It is beyond doubt that Gomez is one of the players who interests us,” Mencucci told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I can also tell you that Fiorentina are one of the teams he is keeping in mind should be change jersey this summer.”

The German international is set to leave Bayern Munich in order to seek more playing time, but has also been linked with Napoli and several Premier League sides.

Mencucci also commented on Jovetic, who could still join Juventus despite the fact they signed Carlos Tevez for €9m plus a potential further €6m in performance-related bonuses.

“Jovetic to Juventus? Money has no scent, so in financial terms we do not rule any club out. Admittedly the Della Valle family wouldn’t be very happy if he went there and perhaps would have something to say.”

The Viola have a very tense rapport with old rivals Juventus and would prefer not to do business with the Turin giants.

Jovetic has a €30m buy-out clause in his contract and has also been linked with Arsenal.

“I met with our directors on Thursday and emerged very confident a great Fiorentina will emerge. You just need to give us a little time, as the options we are working on are very important.”

Sooner or later, there will be an oil club with a €30m offer for him but this time i wont be disappointed if we lose out on him as we already have a really good attack as it is.This guy is not a priority now.

I have a feeling that Conte wants him badly.

He would allow for more versatility up front, and, well, let's face it, he's my boy :touched:

I need him at Juve badly.

Hear that @Klin?

I need him here BADLY. :D

City would be a very likeable team then, giving us Tevez and taking Jovetic away from us. :xfinger:

how good is jovetic at creating chances and his vision?. Can he play as a playmaker behind strikers?
He's good at creating chances for himself and his teammates but I wouldn't play him behind strikers. That would be too offensive imo. The best role for him is SS. You can barely find a team today with that kind of player in trequartista role. Most players today have to defend as well and Jojo is not good at that.
