his numbers have improved, I wouldnt say he has stagnated he just seemed to lack motivation.

Check Del Piero's goals in Serie A. Compared to him it's not really bad.

Only want to point out he's doing decent enough. People cry about not scoring many goals is retarded.

From what I have seen I think he was average this season, still he had good numbers. I think with a better team and some motivation he could be a real difference maker. He is 23, not 28, his best years are ahead of him.

giovinco scored 15 goals for parma and now he scored barely 7? don't look at goals. look at how well he will fit into the team.
Yeah, quite well. The second part makes no sense. Also there is a lot more pressure and competition at Fiorentina then there was at Parma. He also does not have the physical limitations that Gio has.

It is also quite clear that someone like Jovetic fits our team far more than Higuain, even if I love Gonzalo.

13 goals this season and 14 the season before. That's not a top player or a 30m signing.

He needs to dominate more, that's it. He needs to show more , produce more and have a big season before we can spend the money and our hopes on him. He's decent, but then again, there are plenty of players who play on his level and are not worth more than 15m.

Got a feeling we'll end up with him out of all players we're linked to. Marotta seems to have a fetish to serie A based players (in another word their teams are easier to negotiate with).

yup. he will be the one. Im sure of it.

He wants juve and no one else. Juve wants him.
Will come for cheap including a lot of players in the deal. He is giving Fiorentina few options.
Most importantly, the oil teams do not have the upper hand in this deal with their money this time.
His pal and idol Vucinic is here, he doesnt want to go out of Italy. He can aspire to get the 10 number if he performs well.

There are a lot of factors.

Jovetic not scoring enough goals is a concern as long as we dont have a prolific (+20 league goals/season) finisher in our team.
We have plenty of forwards than can work as support strikers, being usefull upfront one way or the other. But the main concern is a goal scorer.
So this is why our investment should focus at getting a great tool for our greatest weakness.
Investing a major ammount to upgrade from Vucinic/Giovinco to Jovetic would be extremely unwise considering that we have not the complementary tool we need the most.
Jovetic is great at creating chances and all, but he needs a player at his level able to convert them.

After we acquire a player like Higuain, or Tevez, it would make perfect sense to sell one of Vucinic or Giovinco and upgrade him with Jovetic.

You're sure Tevez is prolific one? Would he be able to score 20+ goals here?
