The only reason it isn't being treated as serious is because only a handful of people really want Jovetic on this forum, the last time Elkann said something similar it was about Felipe Melo and he ended up signing. An owner doesn't just say randomly we should sign him and do less talking for zero reason at all.

Nick is right, the money man of our organisation saying sign someone like he did now is no small matter, we clearly been bidding for him since last summer, and Jovetic is more and more making clear he wants us, so all in all, this is a probable signing. But yeah lets not get too carried away with excitement, Elkann though the owner technically speaking, has no direct role in sporting decisions or operations, just echoing the clubs longstanding interest. We can at any minute sign Higauin and say good bye to Jojo.
