That first goal was started by Licht with a forward pass to Costa. That started the ball movement up with the overlapping run for DC to give the ball to Dyball who then gives he ball back to Licht for the cross. Startling what can be created when we move the ball up the pitch...

Good thing we have Darmian incoming
Darmian when he left Italy, was a very fine talent we could have beaten with a stick untill he was a proper player

However, he went to the EPL, so its unclear whether the brain eating amoebe has done too much damage to make him comprehend basic things again.

Our team needed his grinta.

Before his sub there were 10 ballerinas on the pitch and Chiellini. After his sub, many others started to show their teeth. Sami, Barza f.e.

It's not just grinta though. Lichtsteiner is an intelligent player first and foremost. He knew exactly what we needed. I bet he's one of those few players actually observing the game from the bench, thinking of what he could change for the better coming on.

An intelligent and a very solid performance. And I'm glad for the guy, because he's had to endure a lot over the last few years.

Everything about him is lovable, grinta, directness, awareness, cockiness. The way he complains, the way he provokes, the way he plays for the team.

Have been on Licht's case for awhile losing a step or two, but no doubt if you need to score goals, so much better him in instead of MDS. He was the best Juve had to offer tonight. Would like to see him here next season, but not first team.
