agreed. but we have to remember he was once supposed to go to inter and if we didnt reject him, he would be a traitor like Bonucci. amazing how thin the line between a legend and a player fans hate is
in the end he didn't go to Inter. in the end Nedved, Trez and Camo stayed through Serie B while Thuram, Cannavaro and Zambrotta did not. facts are all that matters, Stephan is surely an impulsive personality, but he's our warrior and legend and deserves nothing but respect for his dedication to our stripes throughout the years.

Lichtsteiner in doubt for Napoli | Football Italia

Juventus risk being without Stephan Lichtsteiner for the showdown with Napoli, as he’s struggling with a thigh injury.

The Bianconeri are almost certain to be without Gonzalo Higuain for the match, with the two sides separated by four points in the Serie A table.

During today’s training session at Vinovo, Juan Cuadrado, Federico Bernardeschi and Giorgio Chiellini trained separately as they recover from knocks.

The club also announced that “Lichtsteiner has aggravated the flexor muscles in his right thigh and will be assessed in the coming days”.

It’s a crucial fortnight for Juve, with the Partenopei on Friday, Olympiakos on Tuesday and Inter on the following Saturday.

OK, I get it, he's a legend. So possibly can his thread be moved to the legends forum. Maybe someone close to Max sees it and tells him and the light goes off in Max's head.

Marseille want Lichtsteiner early
By Football Italia staff

Juventus could be tempted to part with Stephan Lichtsteiner in January, as Olympique Marseille are pushing hard for his signature.

The Swiss Express will be out of contract at the end of the season and is not even included in their Champions League squad list.

A new deal won’t be offered to him, but the departure could occur earlier than expected.

According to La Stampa newspaper, Marseille are pushing hard for Juventus to release Lichtsteiner in January.

The right-back turns 34 next month and has been in Turin since the summer of 2011, when he left Lazio.
