It was clear as day, from last season, that we should be getting a new starting RB who could at least compete with Licht for the position, and let Caceres go.

But no.

I love this guy so fuck you all... He was good last season and he could still performance in a high level... Remember we were playing shit so far this season so everyone except Gigi was looking in a bad shape.

Yesterday Evra lost even more risky balls...

Hear Hear. People are starting to pick on him all of a sudden! Even if he's declining, or not as sharp as he used to be, he was by no means a liability to this team and can still be our starting RB.

We changed almost half of our team this summer and we're still recovering from it. He is still sharp defensively imo, and it's not like he was some sort of Cafu attacking-wise. Still, pretty sad to see he declined so fast, fullbacks usually age well.

He's been so consistent over the past 4 years that people are thinking it's a permanent decline because he underperformed in 3-4 games. He's just having a rough patch probably because he misses Pirlo.

That's why I prefer Caceres playing behind Cuadrado. Licht has the inborn desire to barge all the way up with no cover left behind on the right side.

:agree:
Perhaps the player most affected by his departure.

Indeed! All he has to do (beside trolling opposition) was to run down the flang towards the box and receive perfect balls from the maestro, even then he was making abysmall crosses and wrong decisions. Can't deny he had very good games, where he almost die on the pitch for us

best thing about cuadrado being here is that Licht doesn't have to attack anymore. Now he can concentrate fully on what he's actually good at which is bossing that flank on defense.

Stephan Lichtsteiner was last night taken to Mauriziano Hospital after reporting breathing difficulties during the interval of the Bianconeri’s Serie A encounter with Frosinone at Juventus Stadium.

He was kept under observation throughout the night and discharged this morning after the symptoms subsided. His condition will be monitored over the coming days.

The defender did not train today and it is unlikely that he will be available for this weekend’s trip to Napoli.
