His form is at its lowest considering how much he ran all season, that's all. For now, I wanna see Caceres starting.

Generally, I'm pretty happy with our FB department. Licht, PDC and Caceres are beasts.

anyone can analyze why this guy isn't as good in 3-5-2 as he was in 4-3-3/4-4-2?
There's less space for him.

In 4-3-3 Pepe often drifts inside and takes an opposition player with him, which often leaves Lichtsteiner the whole flank to run into unopposed.

In 3-5-2 there is no-one creating space for Lichtsteiner, so he just has to play against his opponent.

His temperament has gotten the better of him, the last few outings. But between him and Caceres we probably have the best RB pairing in the world? Is it a stretch to say that?? Not individually speaking, but as a pair.

3-5-2 doesn't suit him. But as an alternative formation he can fill the spot without many problems, but his game is gonna be defensive majority of the time and he's always doing a good job there. On the other hand, he's much more effective in 4-3-3 as he's making those forward runs which help our game. Caceres is more useful in 3-5-2 IMO.
