Seeing how our team played against Pool, I thought that we simply need new young and frsh players in Turin. Nedved is simply at the end of his career. He lost every running battle in midfield yesterday and didn't creat anything. Del Piero tried a lot, but he won't bring us far. He is not the assisting striker we need. Zlatan should play as assisting striker with a new striker to partner him.
In midfield we simply need better back-ups and more creative players. I don't care who, but players like Olivera, Blasi and Appiah are not champions who will help us to win titles. Our only real midfielders are Camoranesi and Emerson. Thats really sad, as we once had Deschamps, Davids, Zidane,..... in one midfield, and now we have players, who can pass a ball worse than my grandmother does.
Now in defense, we should get much better back-ups. Monter and Ferrara would be Stewards or Security guards in any other big team of the world, but they are our back up defenders. Thats crazy!!!!!! Zebina is our wing-back, and simply lacks skills for this position. Get Miguel or any other defender, because the wing back position are very important.

It is the right time to change something to Juve. With a new sponsorship in the bag (Tamoil makes us rich!!!!!!), we need to get players like Gilardino and Cassano instead of Nedved and also DP! GET NEW BLOOD!

Could not agree more. there are many players ta the club who are either not good enough, past it or even on the brink of ending their career.

Our tactics right now are rubbish. if we need to defend a 3 goal lead, then our current starting tactics are perfect, but this isnt the case.

Defence:
montero- past it
birindelli- past it
thuram- no spring chicken and at times looks shakey

midfield:
appiah- why is he still here
tacchinardi- respect but davids and zidane made you look great in our midfield back then
blasi- nuf said
kapo- like he'll ever get a chance
Olivera- hot and cold

Attack:
Trezeguet- great goal scorer when he actually plays. i say sell him and get a striker who plays more than half a season
Del Piero- respect and all, but playing a handfull of good games may not be enough for the club anymore.

Capello- his roma side used to score goals like it was going out of fashion and his turns juve into a defensive lump.

My theory is this. if nedved is at juve next season, we'll be non creative once again. with him in the team, it seems that capello will never exercise the idea of having a playmaker, a central link man from midfield to the attackers in his team.

What juve needs is a player who can thread passes from midfield. someone who can cut up a midfield and dribble and create and even score.

Juve, obiettivo rosa 14 04 2005

in short:

From champions league monay and tamoil/

Defence:
chivu- hard to get
Kovac
Kuffuor(free trasnfer)
barzagli
bonera
coda(empoli)
chielini the most important

midfield:
ledesma
mozart
gianicheda-very close
Essien & mavuba are abondonded --> too dificult to get
gerrard
Xabi alonso

Attack:
Still on cassano but with mutu already with juve and nonda sooo close cappello can be happy to stay with this attack or try to get mintal the ideal subsitute for nedved

Players which most probably will be sold are:

Montero, Tudor, Appiah, Kapo, Maresca, MIccoli

In defence we need a right back and long term replacements for Thuram and Cannavaro.

In Midfield we need a creative replacement for Nedved someone like Duff or Ronaldhino except someone we can actually get :D

i would love if we get Essien,he is pure class and is exactly what Juve need.

In attack the arrival of Mutu will ensure that if Trezeguet gets injured we can continue scoring fine without him,

Del Piero should go and be replaced with Cassano

Imagine having Trezeguet-Mutu-Ibrhamovich-Cassano to select from in attack, quite mouth-watering really.

All in all we need a much more creative and attacking side, buying Ibrhamovich was a good start but is not enough.

You're forgotting midfield. Who will play instead of Nedved?

1. I don't want Bonera in Juve. Never. Better to play with Montero.
2. Kuffour is leaving to Arsenal
3. Who the fvuck is Coda?
4. Mozart
5.Yes sure, xabi will leave L'pool after one season. No way.

We need Rosicky.

that's good , but not KOMPANY i know this player so well and believe me he is not Juventus material + with a price of 20milion euros we can buy a much better defender than kompany

I just saw this thread,I will post this again..

Capello to leave??hell no!!

in the past years, we had the greatest Italian coaches,we had Lippi,Ancelotti, and now Capello.we did good job in serie A.but In Europe,we were not like the giants.real madrid, manchester or Milan (not reall a giant ).
we reachedthe final 3 times with Lippi.that was good.but the last 6 or 7 years. we are playing shity football.withouth heart, slow etc..
you can't criticize Capello,we know what he did with Milan and madrid, and specially with roma.roma were playing the best football the last two seasons along with milan.and with that small or less valuable squad.
so what the solution if you ask me?I say get rid of del piero as fast as you can. he is the main reason why we are strugling.get rid of montero, altought I have respect for his services.and get rid of the players that are on loan (the defenders).
we need players that give 100%,that run the whole match, play with enthusiasm
like zambrotta, camoranesi, emerson, canavaro and even Nedved altough he is playing in bad form recently.
and get rid of that kid Olivera,he has great talents, but no responsebility, and doesn't give 100%.
we need a great playmaker or two.like barca, and real with our good defence we will do great.
and why the hell zalayeta is not playing??after he came to the match,we started to move.why keep a soldier like him on the bench??
I know i want a lot of players to leave, but enough is enough.I have to admit I am not enjoying to watch Juve for years.

I'm not for revolution. Evolution, more like it. Year in and year out, it's the teams that build on a core squad -- making select changes -- that always seem to end up competing for the top spot.

Wholsesale, revolutionary changes, whether you are Inter or some newly-promoted Serie B side, are most often a recipe for underachievement.

Do you think Veron will end up in Juventus?

I would love Veron at Juventus. He would be our most adept player, no question. Every other idiot said Veron was finished, but now he's playing wonderfully for Inter of all teams. Seba is still a fantastic player.

Did I see Steven Gerrard's name mentioned in a short list of targets? Hmm he might be a good buy.
