Well, he did make the first team from the youth team so he should be among the "youth system" players. Like Messi for Barca.
Barca also paid some money to get him, but he was in their youth team so he counts as a youth system player.
Del Piero also counts as a youth system player in the CL and EL lists we give and which require at least 5 (?) players who came through the youth teams.
