I've never understood that mentality.

It must make for a rather sad existence.
Pffff, don't tell me you don't do it too.

There is much bigger pleasure in watching Milan losing a CL final the way they did to Liverpool than watching Juve beating Pescara in serie B.

You can't generalize. Every case is different.
Of course that Juve beating Palermo will give me bigger pleasure than Milan losing to Palermo, but there are cases when the rival losing is sweater than your team winning.

For me it never is. I'd enjoy my team win in a friendly against a youth-devision team in Italy more than watching merda lose the CL final in Madrid.

I mean in more directly related situations, like Lazio fans hoping they lost to Inter.

I still remember the celebrations when Rangers lost the UEFA Cup Final to Zenit. :D

Mourinho hates Italian media? After a season with his "anti football" tactics both the Spanish media and the fans will kill him for playing football like that. He's going to hate Spain so much.

Sorry but I downright hate that phrase, there is nothing wrong with a team that can play some great defensive football especially when they can still score with a very potent attack (like Jozay's Inter). I would love to see unbreakable Italian defenses rock Europe again, especially in Juve shirts.

But I agree that Mourinho might not enjoy Spain. Those idiot Madridistas are going to run out their best chance of overtaking Barcelona because they won't appreciate his emphasis on a strong defensive game. Jozay might win the league title in his first season in Spain but I don't see his Madrid career being everything he expects.

There is nothing called anti-football, it's only football you and a few others don't like.

Well you saved me some time.

I'd just like to add that this type of football is brilliant because it has Barça fans crying over why the team doesn't have more possession and more chances on goal. And some think that playing defensive football is so easy that any team can do it.

I hate the way they think their football should be holy.
