Justin Bieber trains with Barcelona
Canadian popstar Justin Bieber was the center of attention as he took part in a recent Barcelona training session.

The Biebs might have found a backup career.

International pop phenomenon Justin Bieber may be better known for packing stadiums worldwide with his musical stage shows, but he showed on Wednesday during a training session with Barcelona that he also has a tasty left foot.

The 17-year-old Canadian was in the Catalan city to play a sell-out show at Palau Sant Jordi on Wednesday evening but appeared at Barca's Ciutat Esportiva training complex earlier in the day, even making time for a quick game with some of the players.

Bieber admitted he is a big fan of the Spanish champion, although he was unable to attend their 5-1 drubbing of Shakthar Donetsk in the first-leg of their Champions League quaterfinal due to his performance commitments.

The pint-sized performer played alongside Thiago and Benja as the three came up against the singer's friend, Bojan and Fontas with Barcelona's B team keeper between the sticks.

Footage of the training session appears below, with Bieber showcasing some surprising skill in Barcelona's all-green training kit.

No doubt he's great but still it's La Liga for crying out loud. He wouldn't have such a record playing in say, Italy or England where defense at worst case isn't as big of a joke as that of liga.

I'm pretty sure he'd score more in Italy.
