I can't wait for Madrid to play more proper teams. So far they've lost to Barça, lost and drawn to Milan, and lost to Lyon so their record really isn't that great.

Messi just called Ronaldo and asked if he can take Ronaldo's boots.....to clean them.
Messi called back asking Ronaldo why he wasn't at the 2009 CL final.

Exactly. It doesn't really matter how well he does for Athletico, he's been at Juve for 3 years and has done jack shit. I rate the player and i thought he was very good for Lyon, and he was rather decent at Chelsea too. But fact of the matter is, he wasn't up to level at Juve. Maybe new surroundings and a new league would get him back to his old self, but that doesn't mean he will perform in the same way for Juventus.

They've also lost to Sevilla.

But at the same time they've beaten Valencia at the Mestalla and Deportivo at the Razor, not easy feats.

True, but this latest project was intended to put them into the top bracket of clubs again and so far they haven't been able to match them based on results.

Sucks that the return against Lyon will be on at the same time as Milan though.

The Real - Lyon game is more interesting though. The United - Milan game is done and dusted, Milan never stood a chance in the first place.

Probably the main reason for me watching the Milan game is in the hope that Ronaldinho will produce some more magic. I'll give it 45 minutes, because I'm aware that it will be hard to go to Old Trafford.

Villa with a magnificent lob over the keeper from a 1-on-1 situation.

(kinda like Alex's goal against Germany).

2-0 Valencia
