Haha, look at their transfers and how much they spent for nothing, yet again

Last year same story against Liverpool. People were expecting them to beat everyone and see them at least in the semis. :lol2:

Kaka
Ronaldo
Benzema
Xabi
Albiol

It's absurd to laugh at a player like Ronaldo or even at purchasing a player like him. He sure can't do everything on his own, still he is, IMO, the best player of the world at the moment and is an absolute joy to watch.

Woohoo, La Liga is so strong.

They can even win it, they are the biggest chokers ever. :lol2:
They can choke as much as they want in Europe (unless they play Barca, Milan or Inter). What's important is not to choke in La Liga when they're the only team who can take the trophy from Barca.

Fuck Real in Europe, Forza Real in Spain.

Ronaldo was unplayable in the first half, and scored a goal that was really difficult. But he faded away in the second half, and caved under pressure when the going got tough.

Kaka though was really mediocre, there were a lot of people(including my Real madrid supporting mates) that thought Kaka would play a bigger role than Ronaldo at the start of the season, imo that was always a longshot, Ronaldo has always been the much superior player.

That's because he was extremely well marked, double-marked most of the time. The Lyon coach correctly assumed that they can give more space to the others but they can't leave space to Ronaldo. It proved correct because the others were bloody awful.
That's unacceptable for a team who has players of such caliber to suck so much when Ronaldo is out or well marked.
Barca had Iniesta to do the job when Messi was neutralized by the Chelsea players. Real had no-one, even though on paper they do have players who should do the job when Ronaldo isn't allowed to do it.

I agree, they are a bit over reliant on Ronaldo's solo efforts in the CL. In the Liga they have Higuain to share the job, but for some reason he never steps up in the CL.
