Ujfalusi probably played the worst game in his career, that was downright horrible performance by him, truth be told though, normally he's quite good.

Oh and i have to agree with Rab about the Liga, imo its not half as entertaining as either the Serie A or the Premiership.

As I remember Ujfalusi wasn't playing badly in Serie A
He was just ok in serie A, nothing too impressive or too bad. To say the truth specially on those last few years i wasn't impressed by any defender in serie A (though there are some defenders with great potential in the league) but still didn't reach the level or class of cannavaro, nesta, thuram yet.......

Sometimes a fighter is more enjoyable to watch than a ballet dancer.
word,i like all aspects of the game and to me the tactical side of a DM's game is something i always enjoy

It was a surreal and brilliant game, but mainly a freak game, IMO this game doesnt change much of their issues.

Nothing wrong with Messis freekick goal, he is allowed to take the kick, and he did. Only fishy thing was the pk they got, the second goal, was quite weak.

Btw, those knee-jerkers who hailed Ujfalusi as the special defender that got away from us due to Secco stupidity, you should have seen this game. Slowest and worst defending I have seen in a long while. He really really sucked, heh.
:agree: a very strange game to watch, after 9 minutes i said to my Gf that this was one of those freak game that comes along every now and again

as for Ujfalusi-he had a nightmare but IMO is was the positional naivety of heitinga that really got them into trouble

You answered it yourself best.

A great centre-back, despite your close-minded view on this.

Far far from great (I guess you were one of those who hyped him in the summer?), he is decent, nothing more.

And just because one says its a freak game doesnt excuse him being at fault at like 3 of the goals.

Look, Ujfalusi is better than the defensive dunderheads in the squad now, barring Chiellini.

Do we honestly have to debate whether or not a FREE Ujfalusi wouldn't be a good signing?

Ujfalusi makes Grygera look like a player for Penn State University.

He's a slight upgrade over your current defenders barring Chielleni. But he certainly isn't the savior many here make him out to be.

What a thriller that was between Real and Espanyol.. Real is an ordinary team imo. Something i noticed about them is that they are so vulnerable to counter attacks.

I never disagreed with that, but he is indeed 100000 times better than Knezevic and Grygera and that needs to be pointed out.
