What Pepe did was just sick but he didn't even hurt the player. I think his case is really being exaggerated. These incidents are two-sided. What Zidane did to Materazzi was sick as well but he didn't do that out of the blue. Not that I'm defending these kinds of reactions but you're not gonna react this way unless your opponent is a prick.

nah you cannot excuse any actions like that, the Di Canio incident was far less serious, in fact i would say that this attack was far worse than the Cantona attack on the fan. I agree with Bozi.What he did was just too much and 10 games is not much in this case.It was intentional but he kept doing it, slapped one, pushed another and kicked the third player (for a several times) like he was on drugs or something.

It was supposed to be somewhat from 5 to 24 (that's max) match ban for that assult and they have decided to be 10 so he's just lucky if not anything.
