Why did you call them mercenaries?
Which teams these days are not full of traveling salesmen?
Are Raúl and Iker not just as loyal as DP?
Do we really (no pun intended) want teams of glamour boys?
Does not Raúl deserve his place in the side?
Have you ever seen Di Stefeno?
they are mercenaries because the majority of them play with no heart, hunger nor desire, rather to just pick up their cheque at the end of the week.
not denying raul and iker are as loyal as dp, as i said it is said that raul is largely down to blame for this crisis, as a player on the pitch the stats says it all, but he's lost his leadership touch i feel, something that del piero retains still, and iker, i just cant help but laugh at those who think hes the worlds best, nothing personal against the guy though asides those 2 the rest are meer dogs.

no but madrid fans demands a glamourous team that plays good football and win silverware, not one or the other.

no i never grew up in the di stefano era, so i cant say ive seen him no, all i know is that he was a well respected player in his time, but in truth madrid wouldn't be where they are if it wasnt for franco and his fascist regime.

is it just me but do you also sense that madrid is killing's cannavaro's form for italy? he just doesnt look so confident, at times looked rather suspect for italy. I no longer feel that secure with cannavaro in the defence as i used too, that belief is now in chiellini

2 things: he's past his prime and also that he is surrounded by players who are just not built in defend-at-all-costs mentality

as nice as it reads ... i do not want to see that outside of the summer break, because i think the possibility of an injury is pretty high on those games

Real's defending is a complete joke. This is the third time this season a team scores 3+ goals in the Bernabeu. Casillas is having a horrible season, he was responsible for the first goal imo.
