and i thought it was only like that here. since when are arsenal the 2nd most supported team? its like 40% Man U fans, 15% Arsenal fans, 15% Barca fans, 10% Chelsea fans, 8% Real fans, 12 % other (AC Milan, Liverpool, Juve in that order, thankfully I only know one Inter fan and he's a real jackass.

people in this country are the worst supporters ever, 5 years ago Real was the shit, along with Man U. now its mostly Man U, and then Arsenal fans that are usually also Barca fans. typical gloryhunters. most Serie A fans are usually 25 and up (except me). i'm a lonely juve fan who normally has to debate a group of idiots when it comes to football, and i usually win (imagine, lehmann is the best GK in the world and ferdinand is the best CB).

Hey brother, I hear you. I have to put up with the same nonsense. Most football fans in this country are indeed either gloryhunters or are infatuated with English football just because it's all they ever get to watch; a big thanks to the Premiership marketers and the idiocy of people who don't like anything they cannot understand (ie anything besides the English language). These imbeciles are brainwashed into thinking English football is the best, so of course you cannot have any sort of meaningful conversation unless you bridge the gap by talking solely about English football.

I know too well about these people, and I'm from an area with very few real football fans. I'm an American, born and raised, but most of my compatriots who love this sport know fuckall about it, which is very sad to admit. But I'm trying to change that fact, slowly but surely.

We all know the Premiership is the best. It has Premier in its name, what else you want? And we all know who flies the top stop flag.... Scunthorpe United. Raise up bitches. What! What!

i have the exact opposite problem here..nobody knows a thing about EPL and nobody cares..More people showed up for the Barcelona - Almeria game than the Arsenal - liverpool game before it.PPl here are either Barca or Real fans.

1-5 valencia defeat at home ??
this is what you get when you sack a coach before an important match , valencia president should be sacked IMO but it was very nice attacking display from real , iam impressed.

That's interesting, Fred. Perhaps the reason for that is that Arabic's closest Western language counterpart is Spanish?

Not really. Quique would have been the same or worse. He wasn't good at Valencia anymore and he knew it himself. The defense was falling apart at Valencia and they desperately need Villa back plus Real decided to bring their A-game which hasn't always been the case this season. I think it was better to get him out of the way and have the team ready to transition.

On a positive note, Vicente is back again and he is doing amazing. He was probably the strongest player on Valencia yesterday and lets hope he lasts the rest of the season. Oh and Albiol leaves me speechless I still can't believe he got a red. He is so not the type.

maybe if Quique remained as a coach valencia would have lost but not with this result , the team was falling apart like you said because there was no coach , imagine a youth coach who dont know what to do , this affected the players which caused the defeat.

I see your point but, I think Quique was the best way. I don't know if its because you want Valencia to lose for Barca but Quique was the worst thing for Valencia in recent times.
The team lost to Sevilla 3 - 0. They were falling apart and it was only expected for it to continue to go downhill. Real Madrid is better than Sevilla not that Sevilla is not a great team so for it to be 5 -1 is not as bad as it could have been at least it wasn't 5 - 0.
All the comments out of Valencia have been nothing but positive about Quique leaving. All the staff at Valencia are relieved and feel that they can now do their jobs properly. No player has complained so I don't think this youth coach caused the defeat but, a team cannot be changed in two days and the youth coach himself said it before the game and after. He will be in place until Sunday's match so we will see how that goes and then its Koeman.

because as you said that team cannot be changed in two days , flores must not be sacked before this game , he should remained after this game and depending on the result he will be sacked or not but valencia president did not do that and that caused valencia to be humiliated at home.

I'm going to assume you are not a Valencia fan in any way because I have not met one Valencia fan who thinks it was mistake to get rid of Quique before this game. If the team lost to Sevilla 3 - 0 with Quique they would have lost worse to Real. When I say the team cannot be changed in two days, I mean they cannot be made into winners in 2 days.

no i am not a Valencia fan but i know it is better to wait for the coach for one more important match and judge him better than to be humiliated like this at home.

Well thats says it all. They would have been humiliated either way just worse with Quique. I actually have seen their games all their games and not just their scores so I know this would have ended bad.

the one amazing thing is that david villa always miss real matches cause of injuiry , the same happened last year and valencia lost 1-0 but he is always avaliable against barca and always scores.

your stupidity always amaze me
So it's not a conspiracy by David Villa to always play against Barca and always be unavailable against Real? Seriously, only a Barca fan could come up with such a conclusion.

Sorry for generalizing there.

So Lippi, Mourinho and Capello are still roaming free.

I think Koeman will do a god job in Valencia, he knows the Liga pretty well.
Dont forget about Martin Jol! :D Sure one of those Dutch jobs will be his. Jose is waiting for end of season to come take over from Ranieri. The way that worked at Chelsea the 2 of them should come as a team, maybe with Ranieri as some sort of director of football type role. He seems great at getting players in, turning the situationa round, then Jose picks up, pushes harder, & makes them winners.

m_elayyan should be upset now :D
