I really think this spell of good form is giving Juve fans a false sense of superiority. I mean, i think Conte has done a fantastic job in turning a team that has finished 7th two years in a row into a Scudetto challenging team. You really couldn't ask more of him, but some Juve fans are trying to make it sound like Juventus are already on the level of teams like Barcelona and Real, which is far away from the truth. You really think Juve's midfield can handle Xavi and Iniesta?

You guys are probably going to be in the CL next season, i hope you get drawn with Barcelona. Because i'm afraid thats the only way some of might get back in touch with reality.

Sorry for being too harsh, especially on a Juve forum, but thats what i'm here for, to offer some perspective when i see bias flying around :p

In football things change quickly, there are numerous examples of teams not qualifying to CL one year and winning the next. No need for false modesty I watch this Juve and I see great things, the core is strong the players are highly motivated. With the right purchases we'll be in the mix. One thing I am absolutely certain is that no way would this Juve lost like Real did today, we would fight till the very end and probably snatch a goal somehow.

No, Fred is right. We've played what? 14 matches under Conte?

We're sooo far from even discussing the CL title. and saying that we would have somehow certainly done better than Real today is nothing short of delusional.

We've would have done better. It's not delusional, watch the team don't fixate on us being 7th twice in a row. That is behind us.

As for this year the team I see capable of surprising Barca is strangely enough Napoli. I think their game could cause problems to them. Still unlikely but I could see it.

Make no mistake of it, Real is a top top team. They're so unlucky to be in this period of Barca domination. I am sure Real would currently dismantle any team barring Barcelona.

I am not saying we are better than Real at the moment. This is clear. But I think Real is a different team when they play Barcelona, our grinta and quality and the most important fact here not being obsessed with them would make for us giving them a harder time than Real.

Several teams have grinta, hard work and determination. But i'm afraid that is not enough when facing a team as good as Barca. If i were you i'd shudder at the thought of Bonucci and Barzagli going against Sanchez and Messi, and at the idea of Marchisio and Vidal lining up against Xavi and Iniesta.

Did you miss the part where I said quality. Maybe we still miss some parts of the team but quality is in this Juventus it's not just grinta. We have Pirlo for fucks sake.

And about the bolded part. I'd really like to see that, would not be afraid one bit. Our midfield is World class and nobody will convince me otherwise.

I will give you Messi and Sanchez vs Bonucci and Barzagli but Vidal and Marchisio, they would do well against Xavi Iniesta..I believe that, Xavi was just given too much room and with only Lass, Iniesta also had so much room. I would still be scared of our defense tho, but dude we got Chiellini,Messi would not wanna do funny stuff against Chie ;)

14 matches. Trailed in 2 games. 0 losses. We are a fucking good team right now. I would LOVE to play Barca.

Just scrap Bonucci first lol.

And another thing.

Lass Diarra is one of the few players in the world who can stop Messi. Watch all the games and tell me I'm wrong.
