Im really interested to know more about Hong kong!
I assume that ur living in the City area am I right? ;)

Basically HK is a shopping + eating paradise, where u can shop till ur legs become sore. There r a variety of CD + DVD shops where they sell CDs cheap. Not to mention about clothes + shoes as well, as there r always a lot of shops where shoes r sold at affordable prices, in fact I bought my AND 1 shoes for 490 HK$ which is considered very cheap. Always speak cantonese, as the people in the older generation couldn't even possibly understand wad ur saying.

Transport wise, no worries, it ranges from buses, the MTR and the ferry. I recommend taking the MTR or the ferry as their frequency and the time taken to ur destination is shorter compared to buses since traffic jams r frequent.

Anymore questions, ask me :)

I would skip going to Indonesia.

Been to China and Thailand, prefer China but both are great. Thailand probably better for swimming and stuff, but China is to me a more intersting and diverse country.

If you go to Japan tell us how it was, I'm definetly going there some day.

Hey ZhiXin I'm in Hong Kong now, just got back from Shanghai. Any place to recommend? :)
Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui for shopping. BUT don't go to Causeway Bay at weekends, it is 2 X more cworded than Orchard Road. Transport wise + food wise is juz as I mentioned. And u can take a walk @ Star Lane which is close to TST harbour. or go to The Peak to capture the view of HK. BTW catch the night view of HK, it is magnificant.

It's cworded everyday. But congested on weekends that u can barely walk. For Ocean Park, I would rather u save up the $$$ and go to Disneyland the next time u go to HK, becos Disneyland is almost the same as Ocean Park and Ocean Park is being demolished and changed into a resort.
