It's gotta be the altitude. Quito is just so high up that they get a massive home advantage from that, IMO. The wins against Argentina and Brasil were in Quito (and 5-2 over Paraguay). But this one was in Columbia.

Columbia is a far better team than they are placed right now too, though they have a lot of rebuilding to do for their national squad.
