I live 156km from Nairobi in the heart of the Great Rift Vallley - On the east we have a huge national park & on the south we have the worlds biggest crater. In general the landscape is spectacular with gorges & mountains all over the place. Seen a lion! You gotta be kiddin me You name it Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Gazelles, Zebras, Giraffes, Monkeys etc .... they are in plenty but the big cats are getting rare.

Looks like this photo struck a cord with both of you. Gray I was in a boat which was less a metre from the water so I was able to hold the camera almost at the water level. Hence the low appearance.

Uganda borders Kenya to the west & the whole journey took 9 hours. It can be done in 6 hours if you are in a hurry though.
