"Ive become paranoid with the forum, every member and every post. If I stay im sure Ill need therapy within the year. When 'trusted' members like Andy and Nick turn out to be total sociopaths it makes me wonder. "

What's not to understand?

And who cares if she comes back. That's irrelevent. What's relevent is that she has left now.

That girl can really fvck with people though. She's scary.

No, I've never wanted her. The girl in my avatar is the girl for me.

Though I can't say she isn't both fascinating and hot and in real life, alot less crazy.

A forum might cause one to need therapy?

I think that statement is evidence in itself for the need for therapy!

Could have been being sarcastic. Could have no life in which she spends her days pissing people off online. Could be an absolute physcopathic killer.

But what I find pathetic is when people have the need to continually highlight the differences in a forum and a real life.

If you say that, then you are sad, you don't need to look any further. :D

No offence, but it's starting to get to me how many people keep saying this.

Oh please. You don't really have a strong personality when you start taking fellow forum members opinions personally. You only communicate via text - of course people are going to turn out differently then you expected.

Scary indeed.

Sorry but the more I read that, the more it confuses me.

Who said anyone would or anyone does?

I'm just talking about how sad it is for people to continually remind us that this isn't real. Like we had started thinking it was and planning our life around it.

Besides for some it is real. I've met Emma and Claire and Chxta and mad laywer have met.

I'm not saying you shouldn't care about other people's opinions. You just need to see that's it all relative. Just like any other place with social interaction it's possible that you don't like certain other people. If that happens it's a completely normal human reaction. But if a place like this forum is getting to you so much that you start saying things as the above you could start worrying about yourself.

Sorry if my point isn't really clear, my English hasn't exactly improved the last few years, but the last months it's reaching rock bottom.

I didn't say that this forum isn't real. I've actually written an essay for my study on virtual communities in relation with people's identity. So I'm actually quite interested in this subject. You don't have to trust my opinion because of that, but I'm just trying to say that internet forums in general aren't really personal and people rarely get offended by their content.
