As we are more than half way through the "Scandal" :) we could assess our progress...

I personally very much like our team! We have very good young prospects! Those young guys are professionals... Paro, Chiellini, Palladino (U21 "Ace" :) .. etc. Its not that bad as some imagine... that we need the haviest investments and so on... I don't think so :) As we have Grygera, Salihamidjich ... I think we only need just Couple more players...

Here is the Serie B Table without point deduction...

Overall table
1. Juventus 28 19 7 2 56 : 19 64
2. Napoli 28 12 13 3 33 : 20 49
3. Piacenza 28 14 5 9 34 : 31 47
4. Rimini 28 12 10 6 40 : 25 46
5. Bologna 28 13 7 8 33 : 24 46
6. Genoa FC 28 13 7 8 41 : 33 46
7. Mantova 28 10 14 4 31 : 19 44

And these results were achieved in conditions when EVERY TEAM PLAYS against us LIKE A FINAL!!! and thats like playing against Average teams in Seria A...

I think with the right attitude WE WILL BE COMPETITIVE AND GET THE SCUDETTO BADGE BACK from those BASTARDS (I think bastard is not so bad word and didn't need ***'s); :D

I get where you're coming from. I am pleased that we're atop the table with a two-game lead so early -- versus what I expected. That said, every team played us like a final when we were in Serie A, so I don't think there's anything new going on here.

Now your post is filled with pessimism :disagree:

Its totally my opinion , optimism attitude... and hopes...

And I put the table WITHOUT POINT DEDUCTIONS... so its not 2 game lead...

And we manage this with bunch of youngsters and VETERANS (Pavel, Alex, etc.)

Please don't be pessimistic we will kick some ass, when we get out ;)

It was expected that we could make up the points that were "given" to us as punishement, good to see we were able to do it so fast.

But for next season, I think it is more realistic to say we will go for a CL-spot instead of the Scudetto, it will be a big prestation to be back in Europe (read cl) for the 2008-2009 season and also challenge for the scudetto in that season, i think it is a bit to early for is to be able to challenge for serieA victory next season already, but of course, I wouldn't mind if we are able to do it.

    Please be optimistic!

Theoretically we will always have good chance of winning every game!

We are 11 Lions... not 11 P%ssies like Inter :)

Anyway I hope for the BEST! Setting scudetto target means setting CL target automatically... so DD shouldn't describe that dark picture :(

P.S. Its my 400th Post !!! And I dedicate it to Burke (By the way where is he?:) I miss him ...

We will prove our real strength while playing real matches, like the one with Napoli,
we are not just a serie A team playing in serie b, we are the best serie A team playing in serie B
Serie B is competitive but it shouldnt be for us,
we have the best team/material in the league by far
but we struggled many times to get a positive results,
lesser teams even punished a few times, because we were under-performing.
There are very few teams in the league that can hardly cope with our roster's overwhelming power and we never won any of them so far...
We managed to top serie B, under-performing and with a 9 point handicap.
Our first priority seems to be almost secured, we are on track at least,
but i would ask more, to consider myself satisfied.
Not the best winning streak/record in history of serie B, neither an undefeated season,
just a few wins on a couple of games called "derbies"...

don't forget that we lost half of the team during the summer so u can't consider this Juve the best team in serie A, i always thought of Juve as a team not a couple of individuals remember when we played the CL final with BD we had a team that every single player can score and they all play for the team that what we miss now

I dont consider this Juve the best team in serie A now,
but i do consider this team as the best team in serie B now by far
and i expect us to act as we should, to act as the champions we are!
Our material is serie a material, not able to win serie a but able to survive and compete for an average place there, we should be able to win serie b by default, its not a great wonder we do.

My point is that if we are struggling against lesser teams, this year,
we will hurt our selves bad next year, when we will have to face similar or even better squads.
There is no team in serie b able to stand against, or even close to Juve.
But now, the ones that are a little closer to us, can threaten us and can even outmatch our performance, (considering their abilities/material of course), this is a wonder.
Who gave them that authority/right? US!!!
If i was a Napoli fan, for ex, i would be v.pleased, we disqualified Juve from the cup, followed her up closely in her top flight
and punish her every single time we got the chance to play a game against her.
Considering the much more inferior roster Napoli has, its a great succes, job well done by the team, their players and stuff exceeded their abilities. IF Napoli had similar material with us, it would be a succes again, lesser though.
If Napoli had better material than Juve and did what they did, it would be the normal thing to happen accomplishing the expectations.
If Napoli had better material, like the one we have now comparing to theirs and had the results we have with them, then i wouldnt be pleased as a Napoli fan,
as i m not pleased now as a Juventus fan.
The lads did their job, toping the league as expected, but it was not anything spectacular, or out of ordinary, things could be a lot worse on theory but could also be much better considering our material. Some players like Neddy did all the hard work and brought the results necessary to put us where we are, without them our team wasnt strong enough or calibrated to perform good enough to win.
And this is very obvious in games we lacked some certain players that would always do the differences.
IMO the players rating isnt the same as the team's rating,
Juve used to be, at times, a team with great teamwork that could bring results even better than the player's value, winning stronger teams in CL (Real+Barca) and more complete teams in serie A (Inter+Milan), by experience and determination, i was most pleased with our performance then.
IMO our team's default "power" now, is not as good as i wished it to be, we dont use our full potential,
i not speaking about the results, everyone can see we are in the first position and a class above the rest of serie b teams.
I m speaking about using that potential to overwhelm our adversaries like we started to do the last games, this demonstrates that we were not using our full power up until now...
i hope we are on track now and it wasnt just some lucky results,
the true value of the team can be seen against the strongest adversaries,
so far i ve seen only bad signs, i just need only one to believe we are as tough as we ought to be...
