Sorry but there's nothing great about him as of yet. He done OK with an average squad. Maybe he overachieved a little. But finishing above Milan and Inter is not a special achievement when the 2 clubs can barely get 2 wins in a row at any point in the season.
we will be struggling to sell him in a year or two..
Loaning him back to Sassuolo again for the next 5 years and then lose him for free

we didn't pay him 30m.
The money spent on him are roughly 8m.
Over the years we spent 20m to buy and resell his 50%-100% but gained 12,5m.
So overall we spent 8m to get him here
That's what people aren't thinking about. Plus time value of money on the 4 (?) years of installments.

I've got this feeling in my left nut that says Zaza is going to be a pleasant surprise this season. He's gonna bag at least 12 goals in all competitions, I'm calling it now. He already brings more to the table than Matri, and even though I love "El Rey Leon", his lack of mobility and pace makes him unsuitable for Emperor Max's tactics. Zaza brings that directness that Nando lacks, and I think this guy knows his role and won't have any qualms about sitting on the bench.

In addition his singing lowers the average age of our attack with Nando's expected departure, and will be earning half the wage. The great man once again bringing the goods :tuttosport:.
