    Early days, but he has surprised me. Hopefully he maintains his current form and keeps performing at this level, as even then if he doesn't come back we can make some decent money off his sale :D
    You hadn't even seen him play, how on earth does he surprise you? :D

    Surprised me in the sense that I actually had zero expectations of him. I really thought he'd fail in Serie A. However, he has done well and is one of Sassuolo's main contributors, at least going by the Serie A HL I get here (I don't traditionally watch Sassuolo games) :D :p

    Big, burly striker; relies more on physical play and brawn, than actual footballing ability. Late developer (by modern standards) and still in B. He didn't strike me as a forward who could develop, or a player who'd actually pull his weight/hold his own in Serie A.

    Italian players (especially strikers) seem to improve when they get older. From the highlights I saw of Zaza in Serie B, I saw a striker with a deadly left foot and great finishing. Those "bomber" strikers always do well in Serie A.
