I can tell you that all four of them will never ever have a future at Juventus.

They don't need to. Gabbiadini for instance is very hot negotiation material right now. Fiorentina is rumoured to be willing to accept a 13m offer plus Gabbiadini for Jojo. If they make it; great; money probably x5. If they don't: suitors enough for these youngsters.

I think his Serie B goals are better then Immobiles of last year's.. Zaza looks a warrior to me. Decent pace, good physique and pretty clinical on both headers and finishing.. For anything I believe he's got the mental strength to play for a big club... Id be okay with Zaza as third choice ST TBH..

We shouldn't forget that Immobile played in a Zeman team assisted by Verratti and Insigne.

It doesn't mean he wouldn't have scored as many goals as Zaza had for Ascoli
last season, but it's quite probable he wouldn't. Ascoli were pretty awful and not a particularly effective attacking team.

My guess is that we'll buy his other half from Atalanta and give it to Samp. We'd still own half. I'd prefer having Juve own full ownership.

Gabbiadini as first choice at Samp to replace Icardi could actually work out very well for us longer term.

I would expect Zaza's full contract to be worth the same as Gabbiadini's half right now.

We'll always atleast keep 50% of his contract.

What would be most ideal would be to buy Gabbiadini's full contract, and loan him out to Sampdoria. Or straight swap 50% of Manolo for 100% of Zaza. No cash involved.

It does make sense. None of Matri and Quags have proved to be good enough for Juve this term. Zaza has 18 goals in serie b and he's only 21 y.o. He might not be as good as Matri and Quags right now but im sure the club will rather have him scoring 10 goals a season then Quags and Matri. For the payroll, and a potential future resell price... Matri and Quags are still of interest to many clubs, if they stay in Juve for another year and yet again only deliver what is minimum required next season, their price will drop and Juve wont make any money on the sale as compared to selling this summer.

IMO Zaza can just as well score 10 goals as Matri or Quags. And in any case we're talking third choice ST - all three are considered backup players for Llorente, Vucinic etc etc

It's a big jump going from Serie B starter to bench warmer in Serie A and having to cope with the pressure of being in a top club and having to compete with possibly WC players. Some players can handle it, but a lot can't or just aren't good enough and it's not worth taking the risk of someone that has maybe a 50% chance of failing compared to Quag/Matri who are proven Serie A goalscorers.

It's not the right move anyway since youth players generally need more consistent playing time.

Either way, I think most of these transfers are looked at as future income rather than being future starters. Maybe 1-2 will be starters if we are really really lucky.

I agree, I can't see Zaza being the type of striker who would do much in the role of Quagliarella or Matri, that is a pressure role where you have to do a lot to stay in the team, or coming off the bench needing goals.

Pogba has showed how it's done. And like Marrone said, it's better to have 15 games with a world class club then 30 in a small club. If you train with the best, you learn from the best, and we easily have 15 games for Zaza or some other youngster next season..

He's a lot less gifted than Balotelli, but much more determined that Balotelli is in most of his games.

Pogba has showed how it's done. And like Marrona said, it's better to have 15 games with a world class club then 30 in a small club. If you train with the best, you learn from the best, and we easily have 15 games for Zaza or some other youngster next season..

You also have to remember that if the player fails, then that might destroy his future value (which I think is mostly why we sign these players) and he's going to have to do a lot to regain his reputation that he is good enough to at least be a 15+ Serie A scorer.
