He sucks as a RM but would be one of the best RB in Italy. He's very limited once he gets near or in the box but he is good outside of it. His long crosses are good, his close ones are shit and his creativity is non-existant but he's very direct. He fits an attacking RBs profile more IMO.

RB in 4-3-2-1 is the best position for him, I'm convinced. I'm going to put him there in Fifa11 and watch his overall go from 78 to 85.
If he does well there on FIFA, be sure to e-mail Del Neri and tell him.

This average no creativity better at a RB than RM guy is hands down out performing the guy in your avatar with ease.
So you admit he has no creativity then. Because that last part is irrelevant lol.

But, for the record, Pepe wouldn't have got to use his great creativity to put in a cross if Amauri hadn't fought 2 defenders for the ball.

I was referencing your posts. But regardless, he doesn't really need creativity because he plays smart and that gives us many opportunities. He is doing well whether you or the others that don't like him agree or not and he has resulted in goals scored and many assisted. What more do you want from a winger? Fancy moves and dribbling? What makes the difference if results aren't coming?

If you are going to give Amauri credit for that then you should also be giving the players that built the play up until that point credit as well...you seem to be drawing the line where its most convenient for you.

he had been running at the Cagliari DF all night.
Again, great creativity there.

And by "running at the Cagliari DF all night" I'm guessing you mean running at their DF and turning back because he has no left foot and no ideas once he gets near the box.

 Reminds me of someone else in the box.

Do you read what a write? I said he has good long crosses and he's very direct. He's a good player but as a winger I want more. His attacking attributes suit a fullback much more than a winger.

How does Pepe suit a fullback more?

Because he has no touch around the box that is expected out of a winger. Has he done anything all year from inside or around the box? One shot off the post against Lech Poznan?

All his good work comes from outside the box. His pace, work rate, long crosses, defending.

If he isn't suited as a winger then how do you explain is goals and assists? Luck?

I love how people move the goalposts.

Pepe is shit because he doesn't create chances.

Pepe is shit because he only managed to create against Cagliari.

Oh, and about this dismissing of Cagliari: they had only conceded one goal in four games before they played Juve.

We have to say that he is like a monster at crossing compared to Marchionni. I would never forget Marchionni's crosses, he couldn't cross to save his life and he was a winger. Couldn't defend either.

Pepe has done great so far, I mean he isn't anything near WC but he has shown passion and sweat so far for Juve. He's a RM but we put him on the left. He tries to do good, mostly it looks okay. Still I think he would be a back-up player once we have ourselves a WC LW

I didn't move any goalposts. The guy said "what about all his goals and assists"

I said, Pepe has 1 goal and some assists against Cagliari. He's still sub-par for a winger.

I think you guys are all forgetting what good wingers look like.

But this is all away from my main point that he is much better suited offensively as a fullback.

And FFS, he put in a corner and a free kick. You guys make him sound like Camoranesi.

Perhaps when playing Pepe at full back, Juve should play Bonucci as a striker.

After all, he keeps scoring goals.
